Default Pain between the little finger and ring finger

First off I've been using powerball for about a week now and I'm loving it. It's highly addictive and fun, after a record you just can't stop spinning it. I broke my wrist in an accident a few years back and already after a few days I could note increased movement in both my left and right arm.
Now to the problem, I guess I have been using a little too much since both left and right hand seem to have an ache between the ring finger and little finger. The ache is only noticeable at speeds exceeding 9k. I would greatly appreciate if anyone would give any advice or explain the reason behind pain.

Hi,
The pain is due to the little finger being pushed outwards during high speeds, and you not having the strength to control it.

Basically, you are relying on your joint ligaments. This is most likely because you have used the powerball a lot recently and the muscle that controls that movement (Lumbricals and interossei ) have become fatigued.
Only solution is really to rest for a day or two and then restart, or continue but keep the speed in a painfree range and not be tempted to go for broke!

Ultimately in a few days time the strength will be better than ever and the problem will likely never happen again.

Been there and done that myself! I pushed myself too hard at the beginning and fried my hand for over a week - so heed Mr Blues advice!

Tils.
