Hi there I have been having this ongoing problem with my wrist for the past year and a half and have been to the doctor and physiotherapist numerous times. I work as a electrician so my wrists are vital for my line of work. I notice it the most after a day of work when I'm twisting wires together that require a twisting action in my wrist.

Now my physiotherapist says its not carpal tunnel but its like all of the tiny bones in the midpoint of my wrist have fused together and when I go to her she massages that very center point and it hurts like hell but feels good in the same. She never gave this a name so I'm not sure if the powerball would work for me. Do you think it might because at this point I'll try anything.

Thanks. :(

If Physioblue posts he might know what this is called, but I personally think it's worth a try with a Powerball. I'd suggest an Autostart, because Powerballs can take a while to get the hang of. I lent one to a friend who had Carpal Tunnel, but because he wasn't used to the motion and was getting it wrong he said it actually hurt, so gave up. Autostart Powerballs get the rotor up to a decent speed in order that you can get spinning straight away.

I'd stick with slow rotations of your wrist to start with until you get used to it, and then continue at a fairly slow speed. I think you'll soon tell if it's helping.

Let us know how you get on.
