Rubber band gone way loose!

hello,
i have a problem,from excessive use my rubber band has become really loose and when i go over about 10k it starts to come off of the powerball as my grip tightens.so i cant get any decent scores at the moment.is this covered under the warranty?shall i just email them and ask them to send me out one?

u might wanna wash ur grip from time to time... liquid soap works ok ^_^

This happens to me with my Metal a lot, but if I make sure everything is completely grease-free it does become a lot more grippy.

My rubber band came off today- 60 seconds into a 90 second trial. It kept slowly slipping, and slipping, but I didn't want to stop my "run" because I had a classroom of school kids watching me.
This was my third attempt over the last week to crack the Top 100 Strength Scoreboard. My previous two attempts were worthy of the Top 100- but I goofed up the pictures :( .
Today, the rubber band problem was perplexing. I didn't want to stop because my arm felt good, but I knew I was losing valuable RPM's as the band slipped closer, and closer, to being chewed up by a spinning gyroscope. With 30 seconds left I actually pulled the band off as I kept spinning.
Imagine my surprise to find that after spinning the first 60 seconds with a slipping rubber band, and last 30 seconds "au natural", I hit 16,201.:eek:
I had the camera ready this time and........

I COULDN"T TURN THE FLASH OFF!!!!! NO PICTURE, AGAIN:mad:

Hi JeffAsh,

I know about that problem; you have to be quick to capture your score when doing an endurance run. Maybe some kind of memory (like for the high-score) could be implemented in future counters?
