Score Submissions - Please Note

Hi all,

This is just a request from me - when you submit an achievement to the Scoreboards, even if you've included a link to a video, please could you still include a photo of the score on the submission. This saves me having to extract a photo from the video, resize it and append it to the submission myself. This request applies to all the scoreboards, particularly the Dual-Hand one.

We get probably about 100 submissions a week to the various scoreboards, and it's very time-consuming if I have to do lots of extra work myself.

Hey Tim,

Is it possible to attach both a video and a picture?
Up till now ive just been submitting pics, and there is only one space to attach a file. How would i submit a video? Do i need to submit my score twice. or email the video or picture to powerball admin after or something?

Maybe its a good idea to have two spaces for attachments, one for videos and one for pictures?

The best thing to do is either email the video to us at scoreadmin@powerballs.com, or put a link to the video in the comments box on the submission form. Any videos we want to put on the site we upload to our FTP.

I think it is a good idea from Mark to implement two places in the submission form. One for the photo and one for the video. This should be easy to implement.

Moreover, then it can also be implemented that it is obligatory to submit a video in case the score 14000 or higher (just check on the score filled in).

As far as the video is concerned it should be allowed to either UPLOAD the file or to provide a URL where the file is located.

The way it is currently done (sending the video by email with the reference number you get after the score submission) is apparently not clear enough for most people. Of course, some kind of score submission confirmation email would still be very nice.
