Chinese health balls, chime balls, ben wah balls, etc. Two small spheres about 40mm in diameter that are used for improving dexterity, calming mood.

_Savag3_ try turning your hand to a vertical whilst rotating the balls, eventually rotating them palm down(upside down) ,your need to concentrate greatly increases and you should see a big increase in tendon/grip strength!

Personally I use juggling sometimes to warm up and I find it very useful. But the ability to do that depends on your ability to juggle :)

I use bearing balls, that I got from a store that sells just bearing balls for ball bearings. The diameter of those I have is 4,5 cm. They are heavier than the bao ding balls. Personally I prefer the heavier feeling. Another advantage is that those bearing balls are really hard to wear out or to deform. :D

If we're showing off our balls :p here's a pair of mine.19 They're 100mm dia smooth steel spheres covered in duct tape, each one weighs about 4Kg. Got them free from a place I worked and it takes a fair amount of concentration to rotate them!:D
Bought a pair of 75mm for about £4 form a wrought iron wholesaler about four years ago, my brothers got them now and reckons they've really brought on his little finger strength for keyboard playing.;)
