Hi there,

Please read the following which hopefully will assist you :-

This is a common challenge when first using the powerball. There is a certain technique to using it which does have to be learned. First of all I would suggest reading the instructions thoroughly as they are very helpful in explaining the best technique. Pay particular attention to the notion that it is purely a wrist motion you should be using to spin the rotor. A common misunderstanding is that these wrist turns should be quick, but when starting a ball up, the wrist turns should actually be particularly slow and rhythmic. It is helpful to note that wrist turns should also be wide at slow speed. I would say the most important aspect of the technique is rythmic motion in synch with the rotor speed. A lot of it is about feel and after some practise you should find it easy.

Please also ensure you are starting it up quickly enough with the cord. Don't be shy when your getting it started. If you reset your counter on the highest score function, the speed recorded with the cord should be about 1800-2000 RPM when getting started.

I hope this helps but if you need any further assistance, I suggest you e-mail the staff at powerballs***** who are most helpful.

Kind Regards,

Jamie Miller.
