I need some help!
I would like to know which camera and editing software make the best videoclips for a powerball submission.
Previously I used a digital camera to take my videos but the file is about 6Mb up to 24Mb in size! I also used a digital video camera but the quality is not good enough and the video looks like a slow motion picture (file size still about 8Mb)!
Any ideas or help will be appreciated!

There isnt a "best" as such. Really which ever software you like.
If this is just a one of, you can try the windows built in MovieMaker.
Or if you wish to do this with othe home videos and holidays etc, I presonally recommned Pinnacle Studio.
As for a camera, this really is going to be a personal choice. I dont have a video camera, but do a fair bit of editing for other people.
Hope this helps.

Hi Jaco,
I always use Windows Moviemaker as with that tool I get the smallest files with still an acceptable quality. Most of the times I select a 300kbit/s stream quality (roughly 3MB/minute) and sometimes I select a 500kbit/s quality (roughly 5MB/minute). The latter select if I want to have a higher quality.
I forgot the name of the video format I always select...stay tuned..I will post it here. Anyway, I always get a wmv file format of my videos.

Hi Jaco,
We can read pretty much any format, though generally the videos we get are in wmv format, as Steven said made with Windows Moviemaker.
I'm becoming a big fan also of Flash 8 - its doing some pretty good work with videos although some of the resulting files can be quite large.
Regards
