Hello.

I have already send this message to this email info@powerballs.com at 16/02/2006 and since i have not response i send the same and yesterday through the site completing the form but not response from there to0 and i decide to post it here.

I had bought before some months 2 powerballs. One neon blue pro and one regular amber.
My problem is that the neon blue pro doesn't built up speed anymore (around 3000-4000 rpm). When it is spinning i feel it very loose (like slipping and not speeding) without feeling any gyroscopic force like when it was working propertly and i feel a lot of vibration during the operation and a lot of noise.
I opend the two of them and i switched the inside parts and the neon part is still not working in the amber body. Then i remove the plastic ring from the neon and i put it at the amber and the amber is still working so i think the problem it's from the neon rotor (i made this switching because i assume that maybe the ring is worn out because i use a lot more the neon and i find a lot of plastic poweder inside the powerball).
What it is your opinion as an expert? what it may cause the problem? please send me the faulty part if it is possible.
I never drop the powerballs and i just only clean them with air blower.
I also find some cracks at the rotor and i send you some pictures. I wonder how this cracks happend since i have never drop it down.

The pictures are here http://users.forthnet.gr/the/dimkrom/powerball/

Please response to me.
Thanks.

your rotor is broke for sure and i`m 100% sure you`ll get a replacement part without charge. Wait for the admins to answer you. You can PM them about the problem too.

Hello Dimkron,

Thank you for your emails and post here.

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you - we are a little behine with emails at the moment, but have almost cleared our backlog. We are working on a new system which should hopefully eradicate the delays in responding to you also so please bear with us.

When it is spinning i feel it very loose (like slipping and not speeding) without feeling any gyroscopic force like when it was working propertly and i feel a lot of vibration during the operation and a lot of noise.

It looks from your images that the rotor has some pretty serious cracks alright which shouldn't be there. Could I ask you to please email liz@powerballs.com with details of where you purchased the ball and what is written on the grip-band to ensure that you get the correct part.

Everything else looks ok, but you might please include a link to the image with the cracked rotor here (http://users.forthnet.gr/the/dimkrom/powerball/P2172662_resize.JPG)

I also find some cracks at the rotor and i send you some pictures. I wonder how this cracks happend since i have never drop it down.

The rotors are generally pretty hardy, but can occasionally be damaged in transit - thanks to a drop or knock. They are packaged well but unfortunately there is no way to prevent these occasional problems.

Please get in touch with Liz, and she'll get a new rotor off to you to get you back up and running asap!

Regards
