Hi, I am interested in using the ball to increase my rotator cuff stability.
I understand the principle behind holding it out at arms length from body, but would appreciate some pointers on the correct movement pattern required to keep the gyroscope going! Is it a rotational motion? or like the diagram in the box, is it purely an up and down motion?
I can see the potential for end stage rotator cuff rehab and would like to get the 'ball rolling' Thanks

Mike

Our comments:
Once the rotor is in motion and spinning at 4000rpm+ then it all becomes a wrist/rotator cuff action up until about 10-11k whereby you need to lock the joint hard and use the arm to take the revs higher...but the secret is in having super strength in the wrist joint for sure.

The aspect at which you hold the arm is really immaterial - we have also seen customers have decent results from rocking their wrist from side to side instead of rotating it clockwise/anticlockwise (left handed people find anticlockwise gives them better scores, right handed users find clockwise to be better..!)

Hope this helps Mike, regards Rory
