Which technique do most of you use?
1 PB facing down, hand over speedmeter and arm next to body
2 PB between finger and thumb, opening facing up, arm at 45 degrees
3 or explain your most used technique

I'm a counter-to-palm spinner, arm mostly straight and by my side so that the opening is facing the floor.

I use technique 1 from the list above. I'm left handed and it works a treat for me. I've had my powerball about a month now and my current record is 12177 for my left hand and only about 10k with my right hand.

When im going for a record attempt i hold the magic ball with the counter in my palm and my hand more or less next to my body. This because i can really press the powerball into my hand without risking touching the rotor and slowing it down (as with rotor facing your palm).

When im not trying to break my records i experiment with it, holding it facing different directions and having my arm at different angles. This means you get to feel the burn in different bits of your arm :D :D

For high scores. Counter to palm, black outer band off, and held like a 3 fingered fast ball. Rest of the time I experiment with grips band on and off.

i use counter to palm with a lil from straight arms

since i've only been playing for 2 weeks, i haven't really found another effective way to get to the high speeds that "I" manage

For me the ball's rotor is facing straight to the front(not pointing to me but the opposite) and I hold the ball 90 degrees up (when the support band is vertical) and I spin the ball anti-clockwise from my point of view. and that's my technique!:cool:

Helped me reach 12,000 but it feels different(training different muscles).
