Hello fellow Powerballers,
This is my first forum post so be gentle.
I have just posted a top 10 score with a 15,306. What may be of interest that i haven't picked up a Powerball since January 2008 when i posted my last score of 15,056.
After 6 consecutive runs with a maximum of 14,600 i was somewhat disillusioned. I picked up my Steely and on the second go got a new PB of 12,500 so I went straight back to the 250hz and ripped out a 15,200. I was happy until i realised the camera wasn't recording.
Maybe that spurred me on more and on the next run i got 15,306.
I tried once more but got some pathetic score of 15,100. (tongue in cheek there).
After Tim called me a freak, he suggested a training routine to boost my score further. What do people suggest, the Akis master class?
Oh and if anyone has tips on how to start two Powerballs simultaneously like Akis does in his dual video, please let me know. Respect!

That would qualify for a freak. But then what do you expect from a Queenslander. Go the Maroons..
As for training I'd try one handed 30s first don't go to hard endurance right off. Good to see another Aussie posting. Well done..

Welcome to the forums Matthew, and since you've shown you don't actually do any sort of training regime, I stand by what I said!! :p
EDIT: Score approved Matthew, puts you in 8th, (though James Sargent has managed 15.6k, he's just not posted it yet).

I can't get that damn video off my phone :( I'm happy to put the score up but with no video for Tim to see seems a bit wrong. I know it was real due to getting so many high scores that day. Alas 9th place it is for now still.

Hey Bman,
I first got a 15k score in January 2008, after much trying and practice, probably the best part of a week solid of using the ball and doing 30s strength tests and repeated attempts at a new PB. I was on 14,300 only a few months before that.
Lately, training has been sparse, as in non existent. I only picked up the ball the other week for the first time in 18 months.
LH speed i think is in the order of 14,700, i will have to do another attempt at PB and record the LH this time. For a while i was getting better scores on the LH but after about 14,700 the RH has taken a clear lead.
I am shooting for 16k, might need to do some serious training though.
I have a dual record of about 28,000 combined. Steely RH at 12,500.
Matthew.
That's some nice score you got there, m8!
