cant go high speed

i cant get higher than 9600 rpm what am i doing wrong, is it good for a 17 year old

Your probably are suffering from what every beginner suffers from, and that is unrealistic expectations. Everyone has to start somewhere and some are better than others and with practice you will get better. I have also found that you can try too hard and your technique suffers and you end up going slower. I have only just broken the 13200 mark after months of practice, but i have a friend who has his ball longer and cant beat 10,000 but he has his arms shaking all over the place when using his ball, where as my hand hardly moves.

Work on your technique and remember that practice makes perfect, and that Rome wasen't built in a day. Good luck with it.
