I find I turn off the display as I grip harder at higher speeds. What am I doing wrong?

I had the same problem when i started, so now i use the ball with the buttons outwards and the gyroscope in my palm. It took a little practice at first so stop the palm of my hand hitting the gyroscope, but after a few days it became natural to me. Im sure others have other techniques to stop your problem.
