View Full Version : Refuses to work
I got my powerball today and can not get the ball above 2000rpm. I have had 2 other friends try this out to no avail. I have broken both cords now for pulling at it so hard. I have watched the video.
Am I missing something here?

I suppose the question is are you sustaining roation or is it just spinning down after you pull the cord..
If you can sustain it, it could just simply be you havent got a great knack to make it go faster yet.
I think there is certainly a difference to sustaining motion and making it go faster.

I can't even sustain it at 2000rpm! The ball powers up with the cord and within 2-3 seconds stops gyrating.
My ball also sounds like a rattle (from the moment I bought it) which is a bit unnerving!
Then you're right that does sound bad. Maybe ring them?

You can damage the plastic rotor by pulling too hard to start it up. A firm but gentle pull is all that's needed, then it's all in the wrist action, try differing the wrist rotation until you can feel the "weight", when you feel that, you're away...
