View Full Version : Counter Inaccuracy?
When I set the speedometer to setting 3. 'Physical Strength Index' (where it counts the number of roatations in 30 secs) and I manually spin the rotor 10 times, the counter consistency says it was rotated 16 times.
How come?

Hey Glynn - thank you for your query.
At low speeds (i.e, speeds where you are manually turning the rotor like this to allow you count each revolution, you can sometimes catch the counter out given the manner in which the magnetic switch [in the counter] actually operates. It has been calibrated to function correctly at speeds in excess of 2000rpm+ and so at these lower speeds, it is possible that it will function incorrectly.
With kind regards - Rory
