Is it possible to just put a digital counter on the techno version, since I can't manage to read the LEDS at all

i found :)
You need to have a loose grip. If you can let the power ball hang on the string (dragon) it's perfect ;)

The trick is to hold it lose don't grab it so tight. hold it with your fingers instead of palming the ball that way the ball has some give and it will it will take the spin out

Unfortunately, letting go of the ball contradicts the "grip firmly" rule.

I find that the RPMs drop too quickly when allowing the ball to "give" by gripping with fingers.

Hokay, finally got it.

Dangling with the string is a way to stabilise the rotation, but as I mentioned, it contradicts the "always grip your powerball" rule, and you sometimes get the horrible vibration when doing it, so be careful it doesn't rattle itself to death.

I find that using the thumb and a finger (middle finger works for me) on opposite sides of the powerball firmly will stop the ball from rotating and allow you to see the speed indicator.

So far so good, I *know* my top score is around the 11k mark with the techno.

Incidentally, I've also got a blister on my finger from overdoing it, but that's never stopped me before.

just let the ball to the ground (on a soft surface)!
