Anybody who can tell how this thing was invented... I find it really weird how somebody can come up with this idea and actually develop a product from it...

As far as i know the inventor is Leonardo da Vinci !

Ive heard it was invented by NASA, when they were trying to find out new ways of exercise in space. after all, weights in space are pretty useless!
