I do not know how to get it started. it feels weird when I try to spin it and it do not spin all the way. how do I start it and what it the string for

Hi,
I had trouble starting it at first and what I found was to give the string a good pull and then about three wrist turns per second (unlike the one turn per second as recommended in the instructions). You can then build up the speed from there. Hope this helps.
