i was just wondering, does the actual weight of this thing actually increase, it says torque. but iwant to know is if u krank it up can u get a 14kg dumbell that u could use sa to do fly for the chest? help please.

From my experience, while it will act on the chest when spinning at very high speeds with your arm extended fully and pointing to the ground, I don't believe that it could replace a dumbbell for the fly exercise. It will really only attack the upper part of the chest and shoulder region when spinning this way. Powerball is mainly an exercise product for the arm I think.

1. Build up speed at 2500 - 3000 rpm with your wrist as you would usually do.

2. Firmly extend your arm, block your wrist and try to maintain that speed just by doing circular movements with your extended arm. Do *NOT* move the wrist relatively to your forearm at all. Your wrist must be as hard as possible. That's not easy do so, expect to fail at the beginning. With pratice maybe u'll be even able to build speed. But even if yu are able to maintain a steady speed
you will make work your whole arm + chest much harder than what you would get by using a normal "wrist method".

You may want to place you other hand on your working chest to feel how the chest does work :-)
