How is the ball with the screamer motor coming along? When are we likely to see it for sale? What sort of speeds do you need to attain to make it scream?

Our aim is to be able to introduce it in the first quarter of '06 so watch this space (the rotor itself isn't the issue, the big problem is wear on the support band entry points (which support the rotor axle) and their nasty habit of melting above 20K....the fins on this rotor are significantly larger and therefore help greatly in that unique 'fighter jet engine' sound the splendid sphere is famed for...regards Rory

Ah...so the rotor is pretty much ready? Can a sub-14k Powerballer like me, who's not going to go over more than about 16k with the Screamer, not get one now? I won't be melting anything, I'm not powerful enough!

Thanks for the reply. I imagine that the screamer (I think its known as the raptor?) will become the most popular ball.

I think it should have multicolured LED's too, a screaming flashing sphere, Imagine all the news reports of U.F.O sightings!!!, if there cant be multicolured L E D's in the raptor, why not make a normal multicolured neon variety?
