View Full Version : Lost Technique
i dont know why but ive just lost my technique in both hands, and i dont think its because of overtraining, cause ive been holding a day off, and now i tried again.
but with bad results, not even over 10k in right hand and not over 10300 in left.
what has happend?
anyone that have tried the same and know how to ge back in rythme again?

I had this... take 2-3days off, then try again. I also have cold days when I'm miles from my best for no apparant reason,so you may just have been having an off day :)
I also found the more frustrated I got, the more my scores dropped. So step back, put the balls down and come back another day :)

Hi :D
I think i'm in the same road as you PODK:o
Though i'mtrying to improve my technique with 30s:o
I would say you need more rest. Perhaps 2-3 days off? I'm an old man (> 40) and this definitely helps me. Perhaps some of you whippersnappers can get by with less rest, but not me. :)
Just last night I picked up the ball after not touching it for nearly a week and came within a 100 rpm of reaching 13K. Not bad considering Ive only had my powerball for about a month now. I really want 13K now.
Really get quite a forearm pump when using the powerball for just 5-10 minutes, going for max RPMs. And that's hard to do to my skinny arms.
It's tempting to use it everyday, but if you're going for max RPMs you need to rest a bit. That's when your body heals and gets stronger. If you use it too often you'll set yourself back.
