I just got my power ball about 2-3 weeks ago and I have improved from high 8000's, from the first day, to the 9,000's in a few days, to 10,000 in about a week and a half, to high 10,000's in 2 and half weeks and now currently my highest score is 11,029.

I managed to get that score by constantly trying my best with breaks in between getting longer the more I do- but I have my limits and I only try this like twice a week- the rest is doing the 30's and 90's.

My next goal is to reach the 12,000 mark- but I don't think it'll be easy or how long it will take but hopefully I'll get there soon...

Your score are very nice for just a few weeks, I'm powerballing since a year and it took me a few days to catch 12.000 ( My brother had a powerball with out counter, so I knew how to spin it). Anyway, if you want to improve, just be patient and practice every week.

unbelievable but I just almost managed to get 11k with my left. I never knew my right and left were about as strong as each other and my left manages to overtake my right in endurance of 30's

but usually there is always a difference of at least 500 from my right and left so maybe this means that my right may be hitting 11,600 soon or my left has just got stronger...

Although I have to admit my right has got "tired" over this week and not just in the short term so I'll give this weekend a rest, ready for Monday when my right gets revenge..

Congrats. Oftentimes left hand will overtake your right temporarily, or maybe even permanently! Edouard Kulik's 14.8k speed record is made with his non-dominant hand. :eek:

yeah, that is truly amazing. I was shocked when I saw that too. But it probably is temporarily, although I would like my right and left to be equal. Some have huge difference of 1,000!

But i got much more strength in my right hand and i am usually much more skilled with it... which makes me think i should be able to pass 13k!

damn I would hate to have a score like that... so close yet so far away. I remember when I was so close to 11k- I think it was 10,927 and I just when mad and that help to make it 11 lol.

Usually if you are in a hot mode and you hit just under your top score, that is when it is time that you beat it. All you have to do is rest for the right time- about 10-15 mins then power ball it like you never have before- works like a charm then you should get higher the more time you do but you need longer break the more times you try. I did the following all in the period of about 50mins

i had 10,6**
(05 mins) to about 10,7**
(10 mins) then about 10,8**
(15 mins) and then 10,9
(20 mins) and finally 11k

I am thinking of doing my opposite directions with my left and right for a change as they achieve really low scores compared to the direction they are used to.

but is that because of technique?

does strengthening your muscles for one direction strengthen them for the other direction?

when I spin the oppsite direction it just seems that I can't really turn it around properly and also when my left does the opposite direction there is a knocking sound- which must be due to technique.

does anyone recon it is a good idea to start doing opposite directions?
and will it strengthen other muscle than what I am doing now?

Hi Arzg, I spin my powerballs boths directions, that's help you to make betters movements and train all your muscles. When I start to spin to the other direction, my scores of the clocksize improves a few hundreds...;)
Actually I can make 12.800 with my best hand , spinning in my bad direction.

PS: Spin clock and anticlock, but remember to train more your best direction or maybe your technique can change and your scores will going down.

Today I was in a hot mode and a great power balling day it was. Because I did a bit too much power balling last week, I was forced to rest from Thursday up until this day, however I still was not 100% but near to it. When I began power ball it felt really strange lol with only 4 days off but not before long I was back into it and within half and hour i already beat my record :eek: but sadly it was only by 3 lol form 11,085 to 11,088 with my right hand- well not bad in fact anything with 11*** is really good for me.

So after that session, I took a break and began about 4 hours later and after a good old session I was hitting high from about 105** in between 109** as well as in 30s which I had new records for too! Then after quite a bit of power balling and rest in-between, there was when I broke my record again with both hands too, 1 after the other! :D my left hit 11,092 and which beat my previous right hand score (11,088) and I was stunned- I was thinking if my left got that my right must be higher and so I had a go with my right as well and it hit 11,175!

Nice Work ARZG. It is definitely worth playing around with the length of your sessions. Pete seems to peak in about 30 minutes or less. I have had some sessions were I peak early but most are around the hour mark after lots of endurance. Well done on the big leap

Thanks all, much appreciated. Looks like we have a bit of completion here Ron lol - we have close 30's too :D- though I still find it hard to get up to 11k; that is my peak but I find it incredible easy to reach 10500 and fairly easy 10,700 and moderately hard to reach 10800-10900.

Yeah same here too... the highest I reach with my lh is 10800 while my right hand (while spinning the techno rotor to the other direction) gets 10600.. I belive that when the signature ball arrives I'll get higher scores...
also remember that techno 30's are starting to count from 6k so theres a slight score diffrence while building the speed up..
If you have a stress ball it will be very effective to use it to get better grip... Ill use mine too because my left hand grip is getting a bit slacky :o

I'm really confused, it seems like I'm de-proving, getting worse and worse. I have taken about 4 days off of power balling as my score were really low about 9.8k-10k was the highest I could reach. so, after the break, I had another go with the ball and I was shocked to see my score even lower :(:confused: only getting a top spin of 9774 (which was strange as it sounded so much faster) and even when I'm cold my scores were never that low! Also I've noticed that my ball is so much nosier than before...it's strange.

So what do you think I should do. I'm thinking of taking another week off but I swear it got nothing to do with not enough rest.

It could be the ball, or it could just be you are going through a cold spell.

I went through a 3 month cold patch and at its worst I couldn't get 14K and yet my best had been over 15K. It happens to us all, and i've never found an explanation for why it happens. Just stick with it and you will improve again.

well, I cleaned the ball - opened it up- wiped it clean from dust and dirt and did everything. So I wash my hand ready for a spin and I get 8600 lol- I mean I have had my highs and lows but 8600!!! :eek: it is practically impossible for me! after 5 mins I gave it everything I got to get 89** damn so close to 9,000! damn if only my ball was working properly, I swear I could of hit 11k -was in a hot mode too! :(

but to be serious It has become apparent that ball is 10x louder and rustier and the opposite of smooth! I just can't believe I have broken my power ball :( I suppose I will just have to send it back?

Ok, a lot has happened since then- but it has been quite a busy time over these weeks to Christmas :( but anyway since my ball broke and had sent the counter and it had been received by them was about 3 weeks :( and I had only been powerballing 2 months before. When my new rotor and counter had been sent, it sounded so quite I thought something was wrong with it lol and it seemed a lot difficult too; within about 20mins my highest score I had achieved was a mere 9,7**. Also I must say that I had lost the addiction lol that I had but nevertheless I continued not as often as I used too though. About an hour on my first day I had reached 10,4** which I was pleased about, however little did I know that would be the last time I would see a score like that again until a long time. After, I think I had a week where my scores were unbelievable low going down a low as 8300 lol but on average about 95**.

However, in the following the weeks I began to get much better and I had gotten up to 107** (with my left) about a few weeks from Christmas but struggled to get anything higher. My left had defiantly a better technique and felt a lot more conformable which my right didn't- back then my right couldn't get past 10,000. So I changed my technique on my right hand and turned the ball upside down for a try on that, and to my astonishment, my scores began to improve but not that quickly.

Anyway, I can’t say I Powerballed much on the way to Christmas, but on Christmas day I was shocked. I began playing and straight away with my left I achieved 10,300 cold. From then on, I knew I might get some good scores coming in. within about an hour I was in an ultra hot mood (first time in ages) and out of nowhere I just felt really strong in my left arm- I can’t explain the feeling but you just know- so I when for a spin and reached 11,011!! Best score with my new Powerball :). My right wasn't doing to badly either but not as good as my left at the time. A few hours later I began to spin again, but this time I focused more on my right after my left gave some lower scores about 10,200 on average. After about 30mins I span 10,8** which was very pleasing but I knew I could get higher and later on I when into an ultra hot mode too and I span 11,169!!

lol something about Christmas just makes you spin faster :D:D:D

New Record!! :D11,456 R :D had an amazing session today- began with my right and managed to get about 10,500 cold and I kept on do speed runs never at any point did I do a endurance run with my right, instead I did loads of speed runs about 12 altogether and i had approximately 3-8 mins break when I powerballed with my left during that time. Every next speed run was an improvement. I improve about 8 times until I reached that score. However, once I managed to get into the 11,000 I never got out- I managed to get quite a few 11,000s until I got 11456 to 11385 to 11182 where I stop for the day

A long time since I last posted (sadly i have been quite busy) but I still haven't achieve any higher scores :confused: I wonder what I am doing wrong- any suggestions/advice?- it has been almost 2 and 1/2 months now.

Also, I havn't been powerballing for the last couple of days as there is a crack in my rotor again so I am requesting for a new one- hopefully that will help with my scores...

Maybe you don't powerball as frequently as you should. Or maybe the opposite, you don't rest enough:confused:or maybe it's just the ball.Don't really know!
