I have been using the powerball for the last 3 months and have been able to get a 13800rpm from the 250Hz Pro Version. I however feel the ball slipping through my fingers at these speeds. Could a powerball be produced with an outside plastic rough surface in lieu of the existing rubber band. I get quite slippery hands due to perspiration. Once the shiny metal ball is out, and more rpm are expected, the problem will also escalate. I have intentionally roughened the outer surface of one of my powerballs with harsh sandpaper and have overcome the problem. I admit it would look much nicer if this roughening is machine induced or moulded by the factory. An aesthetic powerball could still be achieved. Any comments?
