Hi!

I wanted to share my happiness here. :) Today I broke my LH record. My previous score was 13606, and that was ages ago. I think on 2007 I never passed 13.5k.

My new record is 13766. I know that score "sounds" pathetic, but it's a nice improvement for my dumb left hand. I will continue training... I want to enter 14k zone, so I can manage 29k on duals :rolleyes:

I'd also like to suggest a new ratio to measure coordination on Duals. Divide the sum of dual score by the sum of each hand record.

In my case:
My last dual was = 13414 LH + 14725 RH = 28139
Individual hand records = 13766 LH + 15136 RH = 28902

So, my Dual Hand Potential is = DHP = 28139 / 28902 = 97.36%

What do I need to get 29k Dual?

29000 / 0.9736 = 29787, which must be the sum of each hand new record

Assuming that, on dual, both of my hands perform with same ratio (97%), that means each hand record must increase so that 28902 converts into 29787.

29787 - 28902 = 885 / 2 = 443 rpms must be added to each hand.

So, my new goals are:

LH ---> 13766 + 443 = 14209
RH ---> 15136 + 443 = 15579 :eek:

With those scores, the new Dual would be:

(14209 + 15579) * DHP = 29k :cool:

Other way would be to increase my DHP. ;)

If you feel like it, calculate your DHP and post it. A DHP scoreboard would be nice... I'm sorry, but I cannot update this scoreboard, because sometimes I don't check powerballs.com forums for days.

regards,
Pako.

I love breaking things down mathematically it makes them seem so much more achievable than they really are. Best of luck with the right hitting 15168 in a dual. I think you'll have more chance by increasing the left, a lot easier to do.

Look at it as Left potential is 13414/13606= 98.6% (before new L record)
leave you right alone increase you left record to 14477 will give you 14275 on dual and a 29k score.

As increases are exponential increasing your left score by 871 should be easier than increasing your right by 443 I would have thought. 14477 is way easier (so i'm told) than 15579

I agree, you should be able to increase your LH speed to close to your right hand if you really focus on it. For a 15kayer, 13.7k with the other hand is pathetic. Even my left hand record is 14018, and it was actually around 14.2k on the Analyser.

I bet, if you only use your left hand for sessions, that you could be hitting 14.5k within a month.

As for my DHP, I'm not even going to go there. :o

EDIT: I can't resist a bit of maths either! Okay, when I got my Dual Hand record, my DHP was 92.67%. Since then, because my right-hand speed score has gone up by about 300, my DHP is 91.69%. The other night, during the last Chat Comp, it was about 93%. When I first tried Dual-Hand I was managing around 98.5%. If I could do that now I'd be hitting over 28k Dual easily.

Hey Pako, are you sleeping? :confused:
You loose tree ranks few those last weeks, you should do something ! (joking:D)
What are your last best score ?
(this last 50 days?)

14.8k i can't get above that :(

I haven't trained much with powerball... my finger tendonitis was annoying me, and I've been puting powerball apart for many months. I will return someday... but I will not train everyday for the finals... I want my fingers 100%... I can have a bad day or a good day... either way I'm sure I can't break my record with a neon.

These so-called "pathetic" scores (13.7) are better than i can do at the moment :D:(:D
