View Full Version : Waukeen's score
Hey, it's been a while since my last score submited here :p
But you know, studies, moving 8000 km from my house, that takes a lot of time :(
But ! I'm glad to be here again, and i'm starting again to submit some scores.
However, my scores aren't as good as they were before i stopped 7 or 8 month ago :(
So the purpose of this thread will be to see my progression, i'll submit each score made by day, in the order they were made, and my previous scores before i stopped. I hope to be able to make scores in the 12k range soon :)
==================================================

What are they your three highlights? What do you do for an average session warm up speed enduro etc?
First thanks for your answer :)
Well, to be honest, i just take my powerball, and start to spin it.
But before i stopped 7 month or more ago, it was usual for me to make scores over 11 500, and now, it became quite hard.
Maybe i lack some method, or the way i spin it is not good.
Maybe you could give me some tips about warming up, or what you usually do before your speed run session ?
I'm not the best person to speak to about speed as I suck there. But when I was doing 12.9k I was stuck there for three months then I got some advice about warming up. Personally I just do a one handed 90's Left then Right nothing hard just somewhere in the range of 12-15k then I do a hard 30's both hands then I launch into speed runs.
I do a left then a right 5 each then 90 a two handed 90's run then speed runs 10 or so the endurance.
I normally have hour to hour and a half sessions. My speed and endurance are usually peaking around 40-50minutes in.
This may not work for you but just warming up alone took me from 12.9 to 13.4 in about a month after 3 months of nothing
Hope it helps:)
Thanks for your answer LTLFTC :)
I think i'll give a try to warming up before trying speed runs. Hope this will work aswell for me than for you :)

Hello everyone !
I had a veryyyyyy long time without my pb (i moved from Martinique to France, had all the stuff packed, except the pb ...; then i got married, etc etc).
Now that i have it back at home, i will restart the training soon, i hope it will help me to get rid of a persistant pain in my neck, near my shoulder ...
Anyways, i'm glad to be back here, results will come later ;)

Hehe ;)
nice to break the 12k barrier again ;)
and you're only about 100rpm off your record now aswell!
Yep, i think it's a good sign for the upcoming runs :)
Now i'll see if powerballing will have an impact on the weight i can lift :p

Probably not Waukeen, but weightlifting will have an impact on powerball.
Congrats on 12k, I bet you can do a lot better.
Thanks :)
I still thinks it will help one way or another : sometime i miss some "grip", and i think the powerball training will improve this grip imho.
Maybe i'm wrong, i'll see :)

Oh you're right, sure powerball will improve your grip for any activity it's just not going to give your arms the raw strength needed to lift heavier weights.
Little update regarding 30s run : Almost at my goal :)
