Ball powers down easily

I'm not sure if it's my technique (just got my powerball today, and probably have not fully grasped the technique) or my arms feeling tired, but I can't seem to make the powerball spin faster. Instead, it slows down and eventually stops. I have no idea as to whether this is supposed to be "normal", so any advice would be very much appreciated.

Whats happening is you arent finding the right speed. The logic behind it is you rotate your hand/wrist and find a harmonistic point where you will feel that you are accellerating the ball, if you imagine pushing a barrel to make it go faster you put in effort but not necessarily at every rotation but you feel that push kick in as you have the whole feedback through your hand.

It is hard, it is frustrating but once you have it, its great fun.
