Hi! I'm a " new" powerballer...I bought the powerball just to increase my strenght and to workout a little because i'm a little bit lazy :D
Now,i'm trying to workout more and gain muscle mass but I wanted to know if the powerball helps to increase the muscles.
And if it helps can you give me tips to exercises?

The powerball wont "rip" you out, you wont look like hulk hogan, but your strength will definately increase alot, there are many different techniques that will workout different areas of the body, therefore toning your upper body, all round.

Powerballing will compliment your strength training regime quite nicely, however if gaining muscle mass is your aim, powerballs aren't the optimal training tool.
That said, if you're not used to training, you will notice gains in strength, size and particularly definition, especially if you use the Metal!;)

I've found that powerballing has significantly increased the size of my forearms, biceps and shoulders, and their strength.
Before powerballing I've not really done any weights etc. though I have played rugby for 20 years, so I cetain level of strength.

Same here. Muscle size and definition has definitely increased and I don't have a metal so when i get a metal i shall see if it has any further effect on the muscles. :rolleyes:

Yeah its not gonna get you real big like weights will, although I sure havent noticed any size decrease since I started powerballing. Mostly it makes you stronger, increases coordination, and makes forearms of steel. :p

At another forum I go to, where there's a thread about Powerballs, the others are convinced I must have Popeye-forearms. :D
