Hi all :)
After a 6month break ( :eek: ), I'm back with a new 90's record :)

That's 700rpm better than my 1year old strength record :)
I'm using my tech of course.

Just watched vid.

Excellent technique from the original Ed-Tech'er.

I'm not much good on enduro anyway, but I can't get the hang of your technique.

Gripper all the way for me.

You gonna see if you can beat Jarkko's 19k Ed-Tech score?

Yeah, I know i can beat Jarkko's score... Actually I'm using a very old powerball (1year old, maybe more), and it's not very smooth >< I've been practicing for only 2days because i didn't touch a powerball for 6months, so it's quite an amazing come back for me ^^
Next step will be to beat my metal record (12084, and i've done several 11.9k+ scores those last 2days). Yesterday, i've also beaten my 90s metal record using my tech (15.8k+, gotta watch the vid to check), and i'll try to go through 16k (it looks quite easy).
Then i'll try to get a new record on regular speed, maybe 14.5k+? ^^ To do so, i'll need a new powerball :s

Last Thursday I broke my longstanding record of 14335 with just shy of 14.5k on an existing Powerball.

Then on Monday night this week I smashed that with a new Powerball, scored 14748 (as you can see from my sig ;) )

Hope you can do it too Edouard, lot of people marching towards 15k atm, makes it all very interesting. ;):D

Will be doing more metalwork during my next session as I rebuilt my metal PB the other day. See if I can advance my metal speed record also.

@One-Eye: yeah i should buy a new regular and try to figure out if i really can go through 14.5k with brand new stuff...

You should have another go at dual run Edouard. With over 14k on LH & RH you should be able to score a lot closer to 28k.

Congrats to your great score Edouard :),
I would guess it would not take too long before you join the 15k club.
From 14,8+ its just a mental barrier to overcome, you already got the technique and skills.
I guess I really have to start working my left more seriously ;)

Thanks Hakan :) Yes i know i can achieve 15k, it's just a matter of weeks, maybe of days :o I have to rest some days and to have my hands healed, then i'll be able to achieve 14.9 or 15k thanks to my new powerball :) Hope i'll make a 15009 ^^ Wait and see...

EDIT: By the way, the videos are quite large so I'm going to try and reduce them in size a little before uploading them to the scoreboards.

P.S. Had you noticed, 14804 is Duane's left hand record...just one more than yours. That's quite an achievement, to be so near a legend like Duane! :)

I'm pretty happy with that, but I hope I won't stop there... I know I can do 15.3k, but I need some time to do it :/

Or I may try to improve my right hand and go through 15k (I'm right handed after all!), or maybe practice again my 90s after a 6months break (I think I'm capable of regaining the 3rd place :) )

edit: oh and by the way, I achieve 12710 on metal, but my ftp has been closed (stupid film on it ><) and I don't have the video anymore... You'll have to wait for the 13k :)

I don't see why not, 15k isn't exactly a physical barrier or anything. If you can go from 14.7k to 15k then you can carry on.

It's certainly inspired me to try a bit harder...can't have ALL you young French guys leaving me standing! When my form returns I'll be looking towards 15.3k and 13.3k Metal. (13k Metal is easy, you should be able to do it!) ;)

@Tim: 15k is not a physical barrier, it's just that it looks like an achievement, so once broken there is no more psychological barrier:p
Regarding the 13k metal, I won't even give it a try ! I want to focus on my plastic speed at the moment ;)

Congratulations on breaking 15k Edouard! Its amazing how far you've progressed since your interest in powerballs revived a little while ago. Unfortunately I wont be able to watch the video until next week when I arrive back home.
