Well since my scores have been going up id been doing something different lately. What I do is i just spin the powerball to about 8000-9000 RPM and hold it there for like minutes at a time until my whole arm feels like its about to fall off, then i switch to my next arm. I do this for about a half hour before and after I do speed runs. Am just wondering if am risking anything? Like physically. And if am risking anything on the powerball. Just like your guys input on this.

I can tell you this won't do alot of harm to your powerball, Tim (Adrena1in) did a whole 24hr session! Constantly going at something like 8000rpm :o .. his powerball lasted and no harm done so i don't see why your little sessions before hot mode are a problem. It's good to do these 1-2 minutes each hand endurance because it's the best workout! You'll feel your arms bigger after not too long :)

I'm glad he did it! That's a better feat than a speed record of 16k. Only a Legend can do that. :D

Always Powerballing,

What I do is i just spin the powerball to about 8000-9000 RPM and hold it there for like minutes at a time until my whole arm feels like its about to fall off, then i switch to my next arm.I used to do that a lot too, and when I first started Powerballing I got such a huge pump to the muscles it was great. Interestingly, my speed scores were always really good after such an exercise.

Nowadays I don't get the muscle-pump, even when I did an hour with the Metal Powerball recently, at an average speed of about 8200 rpm. I'm too accustomed to the motion. (Probably partly because of the 24-hour thing!)

But no, I can't see you damaging yourself or the Powerball like this. I, personally, have only ever caused injuries to myself at high speeds, usually when I'm not warmed up. 8000 - 9000 revs for ages is GOOD for you I think! ;)

A little bit, but not as much as I expected. My muscles weren't painful, but my joints were a bit. And I had some numbness in my right ring finger for absolutely ages after...like months! I suffered less than I expected though. :)

maybe the next speed run, to achieve 10000000 rpms in just 16 hours?

EDIT:it would be around 10500 rpms average, so i guess thats like not possible.. maybe just 18 hours?

If I ever do it again, which is seriously unlikely, it would most likely be 24 hours with the Metal, just to see what that's like. I would hope to get 9,000,000, but 10,000,000 would just be too hard.

Afterwards I thought that 10M in 20 hours might be do-able, and then 12M in 24 hours, but I think I'll leave it to someone else to try it next! :o

Propose it to the mighty champ Akis.
Maybe there will be a new 24 hour league born thereafter.

Now cheating on the other hand...
