Hi there to all my fellow powerballers,
Not sure how often I will be updating this thread with scores but thought I would make a start along with everyone else :p
My previous scores were as follows
LH - 11372
RH - 10554
They have now improved to
LH - 12375 (got the first hurdle out of the way by breaking 12K :D )
RH - 10983
My next targets are to reach 12500 for my left hand and to break 11K with my right - I know these aren't much higher than my current scores but I would rather set myself smaller, more achievable targets so that if they take a bit of time I don't get annoyed with myself for not getting there
And for those of you that play racquet sports I have already noticed an improvement in my shot power while playing badminton :cool:
Will hopefully be receiving my new 250hz pro either today or tomorrow and was thinking of bringing it to the office but not sure if that is a good idea... would probably not get much work done :o

Well, I wasn't expecting this but I am here to update one of my scores
I have increased my right hand score to 11455 :D
Guess the next target now is 11750 with my right hand
So my scores now are
LH - 12375
RH - 11455

After having a quick read of your scores thread I can tell you I am quite a bit older than you..... 33

Well when I got in from work yesterday I found a card from the post office to say they had tried to deliver a package which, when I went there this morning turned out to be my new Pball
Got it home, took it out of the box and without even warming up at all, managed to spin it up to 12055... not bad I thought
Whilst warming up last night for my badminton match I managed to add another few revs on to my speed for my left hand so that now stands at
12455 (which, coincidentally, is exactly 1000rpm more than my right :p)
Guess I am having a bit of a good patch for breaking my records as the minute
Might have to start trying some endurance runs next

Hey Glenn Very Nice Scores :) :D
Endurance runs are the best workout with the powerball, they give you a real muscle pump. Keep us posted on what scores you get at endurance

Might just have a go tonight while watching the football :D
Well I have just had my first go at an a 30second run and managed a score of 5073 (using only my left hand) and my arm feels like lead :o
Anybody give me any clues as to how that stacks up in relation to my speed? :confused:

whats your best 30s score ?
problem is speed record isnt all that good, i used to be top in percentages of 30s and 3rd in 90s, now im bloomin' like 8th in 90s and 7th in 30s :(

No problem, but you got a little bit of a headstart on me :p
Although having said that, I have just got my new little 250Hz pro out of its box again and racked up a new score of 12571 so think I might be concentrating on this one instead of my siggy for a few weeks and might not be too far behing you hopefully :D

5073 means your holding the powerball at 10146 constantly which is quite good for a first go. If you use 2 hands you should get a much higher score :)

Bit dificult to keep powerballing just now as got quite a few badminton matches and need to keep myself fresh for those but hopefully will be able to put some more effort into some endurance runs soon
Well I have managed another slight improvement with my right hand to 11508
Just struggling with the co-ordination at the minute, as soon as I get to those sorts of speeds I am losing it.... Ah well, will keep trying :p

Just a tip don't let you right hand and left hand records go more then 1000 rpm apart, this will make you have much higher scores in 30s 90s and Dual
Well I don't know where it came from, but I managed to up my LH speed to 12701 last night
RH is still struggling with co-ordination at the minute for some reason :confused:
Had another slight improvement with my RH, not a huge leap but still, an improvement is progress :)
RH is now up to 11546 (an increase of 38RPM)
Think I need to have an enforced break as I am struggling to get much beyond 122** with my left hand at the minute :(
I can't wait to get the badminton season finished now, this weekend should be the last match, as I was sat watching TV last night with my powerball going and I suddenly felt quite good (surprising considering the last week I have had but that is a whole different story :( ) so decided to have a few speed runs and upped my LH score to 12754 - not a huge improvement but an improvement none the less
Will also be putting more effort into my weaker hand as well so hopefully will see that score start to improve as well
I can't explain it but I think things are starting to 'click' again for me to hit that next big barrier of 13K so hopefully here we go........ :p
Watch out GILPI - I might be chasing your scores shortly and getting back to the friendly competition again ;)

:D I somehow find that a little difficult to believe bearing in mind my scores in Powerballing LTLFTC but a good suggestion
Oops, need to apologise, I posted my new top score while I was at work but when I have got home I have found it is 12724 and not 12754 :o
Have just been playing around a little bit and thought I would have another go at a 30s run and have managed 5278 (an improvement of just over 200) tho I must say I am still not used to these endurance runs yet so won't be trying any 90s ones for a little while longer :p
And have just managed to up my RH score to 11616 so looking forward to hopefully breaking my records a little more often now (even if it only happens to be by small amounts)
Well today has been a bad day for a few things but a good day for powerball
I have broken the 13K barrier and posted a new LH score of 13046 :D
RH score has also been improved to 11800

Yep, I have to agree One-Eye, it was a nice feeling to look down and see that counter flashing at over 13K :D

Yup, it most certainly is :)
And I expect that my improvments for now will more than likely be smaller ones until I get the hang of this next speed level
Got my last badminton match tonight so will be able to hit the powerball with some serious effort after that so watch out everyone, I will be racing up that scoreboard... and will then wake up and have some breakfast :D
Well, it has been a while since my last post on here but at last I have managed a slight increase in my 30s score
It is now up to 5319 - not a massive improvement but getting there slowly... :o
It appears that I am going through a "freezing" spell, never mind a cold spell in regards to my speed scores, have not been able to get anywhere near 12K with my RH and my LH is struggling to consistently reach 13K at the minute
Think I might just have to have a little break and come back refreshed :confused:
Hey Glenn, don't worry about a bad spell.
Keep spinning and eventually you will see improvement.

That kind of thing happens to me often. Eventually it'll be over with, but just make sure to rest enough.

Think I will have a couple weeks of gentle spinning and try not to push too hard and then see if that helps

Well, I know it has been a little while since I posted but hopefully this cold spell is coming to an end as I have hit a few 12.8-12.9K scores these last couple of days so fingers crossed I can get close to my record again soon :rolleyes:
I don't know how but I even managed to resist picking the Pball up at all for the best part of a week... :eek: (Although to be fair I have had other concerns to worry about so my mind was elsewhere)
Might just have a few sessions over the bank holiday weekend and see how it goes :p
