Was playing around with my video editing program this weekend and found out some new features.
Made a new video of my speed runs including my last records (shorter version than last one).

I'll be looking to improve my own scores when I get back from my break in Denmark.

I actually passed Jönköping 2 times during this weekend :D

I became to frustrated by everybody submitting new records to the score boards.
The drop was when I also was passed in the 250 speed scoreboard.
So I had my first right hand session for 22 days (and the forth in 49 days)
despite my thumb not feeling completely healed.
But there were no chance of me holding back any longer ;)

Just by pure happiness to spin the ball again I had a very god session
with 7 speed scores above my previous speed record :)
Also felt that I have a lot more to give since this was the first session
in such a long time and none of the runs did feel perfect in any way.

OK, here is the series of the runs in the right order:
First the cold test run: 13843
And after warming up: 14165, 14534, 14347, 14524, 14833,
14462, 14574, 14642, 14829, 14669, 14541, 14858, 15008,
14467, 14888, 14711, 14854, 14840, 14754.
And of course all the runs were recorded, it's a part of the PB law.

So Tim, you were right in your prediction that I was going to be number 9 or 10 to break 15k :D
I even remembered to show the paper :p ;)

I also had to make this 15k because I promised M-Marie that would do it if she did 12k,
and she did that on the last live comp.

Welcome to 15k club! I had been waiting for you to do it. I knew you could all along, and I told you so when you hit your previous record.

I almost have to say "it's about time" but the most important part is that you made it to 15k.

I'm sure that soon you will discover that 15k is not really that hard, and you will likely do 15k again very soon. Remember everything you did to get to that mark. I call it the "entry way", and once you know how to get into that "door" you will do it again and again.

Awesome score!

Now I'm waiting for Tstering, Dennis, and few other to enter the "door" too.

Well I'm not a notorious 15k spinner yet ;)
I still had a decent session though.
The first cold (measure) run was 13689 and ended up with 14865 in just 35 minutes.
Session improvement of 1176.

Saving new record scores for the live comp on Thursday ;) :D

Tim asked me at the live comp the other day what happened to me.
So here is a short update.

First I went to Shanghai for a holiday trip for a week (Huge city:rolleyes:).
Became ill directly coming home. Finally went to see a doctor at the end of last week.
Is now under medication for another 7 days with restrictions to keep out of PowerBalling.
At the moment there's nothing else I can do other than to wait this out and then build up my
strength again too get back in the game.

First the issue with my right hand thumb and now this :(
But don't worry I'm still totally addicted and will be back ASAP :D

Apart from us, who else will completely understand the complete frustration of not being able to spin a ball... especially so soon after you broke through that magic 15k barrier.. Anyway, as far as I understand it, these threads are not only to post scores, but also to blow of some steam when you need to. Powerballers Anonymous are here to offer the necessary mortal support...:p ;)

We understand what it feels like to not be able to pick up those balls...:o

I finally got around to do some work on the metal since I'm really cold for the moment on the plastic.
It’s a brutal beast and it was not kind at all to my hands and fingers.

Anyway I managed to set a new high speed record of 12352 :)

If you're still as powerful as you looked when you were last submitting scores, you shouldn't have a problem. I personally think 13k Metal is easier than 15k plastic!

Infact looking at statistics I think 13K metal is the more difficult.

We have 1 14K+ metal and 11 13K+ metral
We have 2 16K+ platic and 13 15K+ plastic

I found 13k metal much more easy than 15k plastic. I've done more times 13k metal than 15k plastic.

Maybe the reason that there are few 13k+ Metal scores is that few people own it? ;)

Now I can't do 13k Metal. I have less Metals compared with plastic ones, and few replacement kits. When I was doing 13k+ I felt my Metal was lighter :confused: And it cannot be I'm weaker now. Maybe i've not worn properly my new replacements.

And I need to get used again to my Metal technique, but I feel that will be easier than hitting 15k plastic.

As long as you can do the exact same grip and technique with the Metal as the Plastic, then I think everyone should be around 1800 - 2000 slower with the Metal. I've only done 13k Metal twice, and got close a few times, but only ever got near 15k Plastic once.

Seriously Hakan, if you're achieveing 13k average over 30s with the Plastic, you can do at least 12.8k Metal right now.

Trust me. When Tstering's Metal record was about 12.6k I KEPT saying to him he could do 13k easily, and in one session he improved to just over 13k.
