P.S. Who agrees that a seperate forum for posting person records should be made? :)

Like on gyrotek, yes this would be a good idea.
It'll reduce congestion in the News & Chat thread :o
User statistics should incorporate such functionality as opposed to a separate forum - that's my thinking anyway.
P.S. Nice scores by the way :)

A forum specially for them i think would be a great idea as more and more of us are creating them anyway.

Good idea it probably would help if I made one i'm afraid I might not use it much though but I am looking forward to seeing everybody breaking they're record talk to you later

I think a separte area would be a great idea.
Just watched the endurance vid. I'm not a personal fan of ED Tech but bloddy hell you are good at it well done. The appentice becomes the master:D:D:D
I was trying your two handed technique on the metal the other day. I'm kind of getting the hang of it got up to 9500 the it "bit" me twice once left hand once right damn those thing pack a punch. Kind of scared me off for a while. I still can't hellp but feel that one hand is doing most of the work while the other just tags along for the ride.
I've created a new Sub-Forum so guys which will allow you to post your scores and monitor improvements.
I moved a couple of threads in to it so you can feel free to post here in the future!
Regards

I just noticed "9500 on the metal", thats really pretty good using that technique - almost the best I've heard of anyone else doing. (Edouard got upper 12k on the 250hz with it) But you definitely want to watch those fingers. :o The way I hold it kind of locks my fingers mostly on the far side of the ball(with the rotor facing upwards).
I would say that my right hand does 60-70% of the work... it actually feels like my left is just tagging along for the ride, but it definitely does much more than that.

I had a very interesting session last night. I had originally planned to do no powerballing at all that day since my arms and fingers hurt after 3 days straight of record attempts. So I decided to just lift weights to work my body and upper arms, and go easy on the forearms and hands. After maybe a half hour of pretty hard work, I went to go cool down at low speeds with the metal. But that felt suprisingly easy, so I tried a few speed runs.:o Although they werent that great, I was amazed that I had the strength to even get over 11k. (the best was 11700+)
Then I decided to give the plastic a try. First thing I got was this. Using both hands and actually no Ed Tech at all! (I'm coming for you Pete!;))
http://img485.imageshack.us/img485/3669/stephen30s6200tq9.jpg
Afterwards, I did a TON of speed runs, switching speed and dual run because I found that right after doing a really high speed run with both hands, my coordination for dual run was much better.
Eventually, I managed an awesome 26k! And the 13514 is actually a new right-handed speed score!
http://img485.imageshack.us/img485/1295/stephendual26079di8.jpg
Well unfortunately thats all the records I achieved... the reason I say unfortunately is because this is seriously the the hottest hot mode I have ever had. So where are my 14k speed scores you might ask? Out of all FOUR of them... not one registered. :(

Hey Installed
Nice session you had their. Amazingly exactly the same thing happened to me when I had two days in a row breaking records I was going to rest the next day but picked up the powerball and broke speed 30s 90s :)
Worryingly close to my 30s :o I'm going to have to do some more of them to get away from you abit :p
Nice Dual Hand btw 26K is an awesome score as only 16 people have done it in the Dual League so far ;) :)
Keep up the powerballing

Yes that would be nice if you could bide some of your time to make one. I've tried to do the two handed technique but as LTLFTC described it feels like just one hand is doing 100% of the work

Well done on the dual. There goes my 9 rev lead:(.
With the two handed are your fingers locked over the top of the rotor??
Good dual score, will be looking to get a bit more space between us on that leaderboard after my break. :p;):D

The joy of powerballing has returned!! It's been many moons since I have made any records at all, and today had FOUR of them!
I started out with some light weight pumping for around 15 minutes, then I did a short warm up on the plastic. I had originally planned on making today's priority 90s metal, but after warm up I felt like 250hz was my thing at the moment. After the initial warm-up, I commenced my "hot mode starter" which is none other than 90s with no Ed Tech. The result was quite suprising: (new non Ed Tech record)
http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/5849/stephen90s17464tb9.jpg
So I was pretty happy about that, but I was in way prepared for what came next...
http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/8044/stephen90s18682eaa3.jpg
And as in "no way prepared" I mean I forgot to start the frigging camera! It was sitting there the whole time and I thought it was on until the shutter auto-closed. So sorry folks, no video... but next time I will make sure!
Next came an even more astonishing(for me :P) score, I was amazed that I could hold over 13k for any period of time, much less for 30 long seconds!
http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/755/stephen30s6570jn1.jpg
VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkZ9A-Cq_Qg
I also put out a graph of the run, as you can see, its pretty interesting.
http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/6565/657030sad8.jpg
Well that got me thinking, some speed runs would probably go pretty well about now. I made countless scores over 13.4k with both hands. But the standout was this one... with my left hand!
http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/4903/stephenlhspeed13560dy8.jpg

So I'm pretty pumped now, I'm so excited to be back in it! Thank you all for your encouragement, and the inspiration many of you are to me.

Well just off my 90s gripper :o Very well done there awesome score. You absolutely mastered the 30s thats astonishing! 13k for any period of time is awesome and it's a wonder why your single handed speed runs didn't go up  You should reach 14k in no time :)
And oh I wish i could ed tech like you!! If i could put 1200 on my gripper record then I would be over the moon! Just to say well done and you definitely have potential to go further. I love being young

http://img369.imageshack.us/img369/6889/stephen18844enn3.jpg
I had a little time on my hands yesterday, and thought I would do something a little different. I zoomed in on each peak, and wrote down the approximate peak scores. Here are the results:
1) 13200
2) 13100
3) 13150
4) 13000
5) 13000
6) 12900
7) 13000
8) 12900
9) 13050
10) 13000
11) 13000
12) 12750
13) 13100
14) 13100
15) 13150
16) 13050
17) 13000
18) 13000
19) 13100
20) 12800
Eventually I'd like to do this with all the top ed techers, and see how their runs compare. Also taking into account the difference between how many peaks we each made.
At the end of my hot mode, I tried a desperate attempt to beat Pete's gripper score, but failed miserably. I did get a close score (17350) on video however for anybody that's interested.

OK, so I've just finished an exhausting two hour workout first on a bike, and then with weights and push-ups. I figure I'll cool down with some light powerballing.... riiiiight, like that ever happens. After a few minutes I was feeling really good and tested a few speed runs. 13100 right, and a score too lousy to mention on my left. (think in the 11k's ) Not particularly impressive right? By now the slow feeling that the weights give you was wearing off, so I tried a RH 30s... which turned out quite well! I actually was able to keep the same technique that I use for speed (almost like pulsing) right up until almost the very end.

Next came some speed runs ranging in the low 13ks. But after 15 minutes or so of this, the scores began to come. 13636, 13648, 13644, 13654, 13899!, 13671. I did change my technique ever so slightly for the last three runs, and I definitely see a lot more potential for this technique. :)

So today is pretty much going the opposite way of 250hz speed, 350hz endurance! :o Figures... but I think an occasional killing with the metal will do me some good. In general, I was doing incredibly bad at everything, except just OK at metal speed. And for me, speed is practically the same as 30s, and Ed Tech 90s. :p So I did some of each. The 90s didnt come out so hot, 15400+(which is worse than 2 days ago when I dropped the ball mid-way:eek:) all my speed runs were in the high 10,000s on both hands, with one left hand score breaking 11k. (A couple RPM off my record) So the only records that I made were in 30s.
LH 30s: 5127
BH 30s, with some loosing grip but not full fledged Ed Tech

Warmed up with some 250hz-350hz-weights-350hz (in order) for around 30 minutes. My first real attempt after some one-handed 30s was an ill-turned 90s. It started out real awesome, with almost every peak like 11k, but then widway I looked at the counter, and I had apparently pressed some buttons cause it was in speed mode! Next try though got me 16058. Next try 16067! I'm sure I could have gotten better, since about 5 seconds from the end I thought I still had 35 seconds left until I looked at the counter!

Dude you need to go for your metal speed with the same intensity as your 90's ed. Some of the peaks on the graph look higher than your top speed score:eek:
Adrena1in
16-05-2007, 08:36
But that's the whole point of Ed Tech really isn't it...you give it 100% then rest for a few seconds, then 100% again, and so on. I would expect someone's peaks, (especially at the start), to be around their top speed score. :)

Yeah but his peaks seem higher than his speed record that's all I'm saying. Maybe if he goes for a speed run pretending it's an Ed tech but hold it longer so it registers it maybe better
Adrena1in
16-05-2007, 09:41
Yeah. I've always thought it would be nice if the counter could register the highest speed achieved during a 90s Strength run. That way you could tell what you peaked at, but also if you did beat your highscore it would be logged.

It's not happened to me for a while, but I've had sessions where I've completely surprised myself with the amount of energy I have, yet with how slow my muscles have been. First time I did 17k RH 90s I felt I could have carried on for another 90s afterwards at that speed! And when I first did 13500 rpm for 30s I couldn't score much over 13700 top speed, which was weird. You're probably in that mode yourself at the moment.
I'll update the Dual-Hand 90s scoreboard soon. Better pop out a new score myself there too, or you'll be overtaking me soon! :o

Sometimes I've warmed up holding two balls in one hand. Main reason for this is that when you got back to holding one they feel so much lighter and you consequently can get a higher score.
I've got to say Installed having had a go a Ed Tech for 90's (18424) when you get your speed higher you are going to kick some serious arse at this because you have amazing technique. Most people drop about 1000 revs picking up the speed again you only drop 3-400.
Installed
13-06-2007, 03:30
No kidding LTLFTC! It kinda gets on my nerves when people can't stay relatively steady for the whole 90 seconds.:p The reason I'm like that though, is because I'm literally maxed out for about every single rev, its amazing I can hold it for so long. Even more does this happen though with my 350hz 90s, where many of the revs are very close to my speed record!
Right now I'm trying to work out a lot with weights and powerball, hoping to get a lot stronger over the next few years. Which in the long run I hope will get me better speed records, as long as I can revive my technique after all that. So right now my scores suck, but just wait! :D

I started with an approx. average of 7500 rpm and went on for about 25 minutes until I couldn't stand it any more, then pushed myself at higher speeds for another 5. So my accumulated revs totalled 237,300 in 30 minutes - an average of 7910 rpm.

I had a great trip: got back home at 6:00AM Thursday morning after having driven all night. I got some good rest in, but I did slightly injure my right hand arm wrestling with some guys. :p But its affect on powerballing should be negligable.
There were of course some new rotors in the mail, but I've only had the chance to try one so far in two sessions. The good news is that I'm better than before the trip, but the bad news is I'm still sucking! During "hot mode" if you could call it that, I hit an average of around 12600 RH and 12400 LH, my highest overall score being 13000rpm exactly (that was cool) with RH. And whats weird is now I think these kinds of scores are good, so whatever... Endurance is doing a little better with a few new records: 5309LH-reverse-30s and 16192RH-90s(G). Another notable score was 6k-LH-30s.
I missed all you powerball geeks while I was gone... and there were a couple of times where I almost collapsed from powerball-deprivation, so thats when I started swinging water bottles around with my wrist... big deal now a couple more people think I'm weird. Hey and its cool to see some new highscores on the boards like Duanes speed and Pakos dual. Had some pretty good runs today, even though my session was cut short. Almost 13k speed RH several times; and that was hardly without trying, I felt I couldve gone quite a bit higher. One new record to show for it is a 11243 RH 60s run. If only I wouldve had a timer with me (I was in the car), I couldve pushed quite a bit harder in those last few seconds and made a better score. I wouldnt exactly call it Gripper tech cause I loosened my grip twice to look at the time, but I guess you could say that makes up for the extra revs I wouldve gained if I had a stopwatch. Nothing to great, but any new record is encouraging. On another note, I broke 11k with RH on the Metal again and got several 10.8-10.9k runs on left.
So at least I'm not totally dead anymore.

Well I haven't been giving too many updates, so here's one.
I've been having a session about 3 times a week for the past couple weeks, and I'm somewhat happy with my progress. I'm finally starting to get some proper form back which you'll see by my scores. I even managed a few 13k+ scores with my old dual-hands technique, topping out at almost 13500. By the way, we're talking about improvement from not hardly being able to break 12k about a month ago... I've had maybe one or two 13k runs with my left hand this week, with countless scores in the high 12ks, but my right hand has got a little bit more in the way of technique, making 13400+ twice, with lots of other pretty high runs.
Doing alright on the metal too, with a couple 11k left hand runs, and a nice new RH record. (no vid, I wasnt expecting it)

Good to see you back in to it
Very nice scores Installed:D It seems that 12k(metal) will be history in a few days ;) This means that 14k+ scores aren't far away:)

I think I'm on a good track with the metal. Yesterday while trying Pete's famous metal warm-up, I did manage one kind of new record - and a pretty sharp improvement too. The last RH 30s Ed Tech run I did came out at 5654 revs; more than a 1000 rpm average increase over my previous record!
So stay tuned, I'll post my metal progress in a few days, hopefully with some 12k+ goodness. :)

Awesome sesh today, with great 250hz and 350hz scores. Two hot-mode 30s (RH) runs were over 6350, then I hit 13700+ five times! But there was one run that soared high above all the rest... which happens to be one of the only ones I didnt record! (went outside to cool off) The pitch went well into the 14k range, 14.1-2k perhaps, but only registered as 13.5k since I held it for only a split-second. The way I tell approx. how fast a run was(besides the powerballyzer), is to keep the pitch in my head and immediately spin the ball up to a pitch thats an octave lower, which happens to be exactly half; then double the rpm reading.

Very nice!
I seen you mentioned that your high sounding plastic run came after you went outside, well rest is paramount after the UPC warm up. Around 2-4 minutes is what i would say but whatever time you feel it takes for you to get a bit of energy back, clean your hands & ball again and put your mind in the right place.
About the octave thing. Thats pretty impressive that you can do that! I think it would be cool to make a little chart of what pitch the ball is spun at different speeds e.g. 10K 11K 12K 13K 14K 15K and so on...

Thx Pete. Yeah I maybe couldve used a little more rest between runs... 2-4 minutes is just so long to wait though! Usually I do 1-3.
It would be cool to catalogue the approximate rpm of each note on the piano. One that I know for certain is that an "E" is about 10000 rpm. Its helpful to play a note every once in awhile during extreme endurance to make sure you're still on track.

It's a wonderful thing to break through barriers, especially a barrier like 14k.
I would say that you are now in a top-notch group in the sport of Powerballing. You will undoubtedly make it to 14k over and over once you settle into your technique. It seems that small adjustments in grip will make the biggest improvements at this point as you aim for 14.5k.
Keep Spinning!
Always Powerballing,

Congrats Steph!!, now go for 14.1k!!:D , today I made like 13.4k-13.5k all the time, then I change my technique and 13.8 arrive without much difficult, I'm very close too.

Yeah, it sure is. Recently I've been slacking off, not really caring whether or not I hit 14k since I figured it would come eventually. Now I don't have time to make powerball my 'life' as I did in the first months of training, but I'll try and keep a minimum of several sessions a week and see what comes of it.
Happy to have joined the club.
Small adjustments are what I'm all about:rolleyes:... I'm always trying new ways. Instead of switching hands around 11-12k like I used to, now I do it around 9-10k to ensure a more solid, efficient grip. That makes up plenty for the energy lost in that little extra RH acceleration.
What a short run : o
Not sure what you mean by that... if you're talking about the session length, it did last well over an hour and a half. I just do a lot of short endurance to keep up the hot mode in-between speed runs, which takes some extra time.

Its been a little while since my last proper session. Mostly because my 14k ball went into a coma and is slowly dying, and my other good ball actually isnt all that great. But I gave them a little dust-out today and put them to good use. Originally I hadnt planned on powerball, but after maybe 30 minutes of pretty heavy weights, I decided to do some on the metal.
And it turned out pretty well for my left hand.

Now my LH absolutely sucks compared to yours for big respect for the record, It's something I definitely can't even get close to you to challenge you with.
Also big respect for getting 14K then again in the next session (something which was really hard for me...) I'm sure now that you can challenge me and we can work together to get into the top50 of that scoreboard! :D:cool:
Also we're around the same on 250Hz speed. If you think about it, adding up the scores of our LH and RH's they come to this
Mine = 14458 + 13198 = 27656
Yours = 14072 + 13560 = 27632

Awesome, I hadn't thought about that. I'm actually only 4 rpm away from you with my new 14092! I think we could make a little bit of a competition out of this don't you think? Although I have a hard time believing I'll beat that 13560 LH anytime soon, I'd say I can make up for it with my right though. Too bad this doesnt work on the metal - cause you're WAY behind. :p (whats up with your LH record?! Get on it!!;))
Xaverr, I have had a couple of record-breaking sessions after weight lifting, but sometimes I'll feel much too slow and exhausted to get good scores. SO I'm kind of torn between whether it helps or not - I guess high reps on light weights would give me a higher chance of powerballing well afterwards...

Can't say I went there... It was a nice trip though, I got to stay at the college that my brother is attending, and actually stayed in the same dorm room. He asked me to bring my balls to give a little demo, so of course I happily complied. I managed to smash the highscores on all three of his powerballs which was a lot of fun. And there was this crazy strong guy there who has hit over 13k without hardly trying. While I was there he walks in, picks up a slow greasy ball, and promptly hits 13.1k with no warm up whatsoever! If only this guy would have a proper session...
So anyway, heres the vids of my endurance records. Since Ed. Tech. has been defined as something like 4 or more seconds of loose grip, I said my 30s run was gripper tech., but I did have to briefly readjust my grip half-way. It was kind of a freak incident as I had no intention of holding that speed for the whole 30 seconds, but after the grip adjustment I managed to rev it up to about the same speed. Then I get the weird idea to hold on to something near the end, and I think it actually helped... it was almost like it gave me leverage to pulse with.

I brought only one powerball (a soundball) with me on my 2 wk long trip. I was hoping to grab a nice long rest, since a hardcore session on a soundball is pretty much useless for high scoring. But I still can't resist the temptation, and have been running it almost every day since I've been here! Today I made 132** LH and a suprising 13800 RH! I'm guessing thats good for a soundball, not sure if its as good as my 250hz record equivelently or not.

I find my screamer to be fairly fast. I have got it to just short of 15K now. They makes it about 2% slower than my regular ball. I think both neon and screamers are 2% slower by me reckoning.
If 2% is accurate then a run of 13,800 on a screamer would mean a 250hz ro speed of 14081.

You know how you can spin the ball by just moving your forearm up and down with no wrist, or you can just keep your arm still and do lateral wrist movements rather than circles. Which do you feel you do more of when pulsing??
I'm not positive I understand your exact meaning, but I think my technique would be more like the former way you mentioned. My wrist is used in early acceleration, but as pulsing starts most movement is in the shoulder and arm. The wrist and lower body are part of the effort, but I don't focus on those movements. (my legs will get sore in a speed session!)
How would you describe your pulsing technique?
How would you describe your pulsing technique?
I kind of start off rotating about the elbow, then become more wristy. I've been trying to avoid the wrist but I just watched Betrand's video of 14.6k and he seems to use a lot of the lateral wrist movement. ie just twisting the wrist so the radius and ulna are crossing back and forth near the wrist without any circles. Adrenalins vid looks more elbow though
Installed
10-01-2008, 05:44
A couple of guys use lots of wrist, but I don't have the strength to do that. Actually I've just realized that the only part moving a fair amount is my shoulder joint; twisting back and forth. (similar to Tim's technique from what I can tell)
Dont try to avoid the wrist movement, give it everything you got during acceleration. For me, once I max out I don't have to think about wrist anymore.
Great job on the progress Installed! Big, steady gains. I'm experimenting with different techniques too. Opposite of LTLFTC, I start out with wrist motion, then when I want to accelerate, I lock my wrist and rotate my elbow. Went at the metal for half an hour last night, and was consistently above 12k, but couldn't break my record. Highest was 12115, but my LH seems to be making gains each session.
Technique is frustrating because I know that I'm strong enough to have more potential, just have to find some way to channel it into speed...
250 pro is out of service for now, new parts coming. Can't wait to see the improvements now that I've been practicing with the metal.
Keep up the great work!!

I'm getting scared your coming for me in speed! Incredible ET 90s congrats on passing 19k...and your dual! I'm outclassed totally. Congrats mate, hopefully more to come. :)
________:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:_______ _
Awesome scores! I can't wait to get my plastic ball up and running again... I miss having a big day like you just had when it seems like you can't do anything wrong.
Good advice too. I'll work on my technique at low speeds so I can get some more acceleration before I get myself vibrating! I honestly can't think of another sport where you try to coordinate every muscle into working that intensely for such a short amount of time. Something is gonna click for me soon, I can feel it!
Brent.
Well I'm sufficiently recovered and have picked my jaw up off the floor. Well done, you've been putting in the hard yards and it is great to see it all come to fruition. Big congrats. Pitty you couldn't have gone another 72 revs on Ed and knocked of James's endurance as well as dual:p
well done
it s verry good score !!
i think you beat 27k5 and 14k5 soon !!
gogogo
leg51 ;) ;)
WOW:eek: :D Very nice scores Installed:D Congrats for all of them;) Keep going and you'll get 14.5 soon:D ;)
LOL, you are improving every day mate!! ;) :D , congrats for that..., i think that 14.5k will come before end January..., keep Powerballing Installed!:)
Wow Stephen, that must have felt amazing. And you've made the premier speed too! Don't wait up eh?

All of this almost seems surreal to me
Well not to me. What with the kind of 90s Ed-Tech scores you've been producing for a long time, I've been expecting much higher speed runs from you for AGES! And you're going to go a lot higher. 14.3k is nothing, you can surpass 14.5k easy! ;)
Will go and approve the scores now. Do you have videos? ;)
You going to stick your videos up???

Ah, the fateful question... :o
Unfortunately I did not catch any of the session on video; my good camera has been smashed, the secondary camera's batteries are dead(new ones on the way), and my third camera does not have video capability! :(
You have every right to take the scores off, but I will try my hardest to get video evidence ASAP when the working batteries arrive.
Thanks everyone for their comments! :D

Quick update.... No major sessions since last week, I have been putting my cold run skills to the test though. I can now usually get 13200-13700 without a warmup which I think is an indication of strength gain since starting powerball. Some highlights are making 13654 on a horribly slow signature ball at 2:30 in the morning... and hitting 13734 on my friends slippy neon - both without warming. Also a completely random 14k+ run with BH technique, didn't register since it was so quick though. I think I'm up for 14.5k next time. :D
Great scores :D Now lets see a14.5k+ from u next session;)

Stephen, concentrate and you'll get it. No problem.
One thing I may add is you can get it but preferably below 14585. :):p

Well no such luck, turned out to be a bad session... I need to learn to stick to only 30s runs for warmup! Four 30s and two 90s runs to start with. Best 30s was 6356 (RH)... the 90s runs were 18896, then 19005! Not bad, but I would rather have a record. :p Well then my energy was quickly drained, after only 3-4 really good speed runs I was exhausted. :o Two times over 14k, 14146 the better one... also a frustrating 13999 run. A couple very good LH scores too, but they dropped off quickly as well. Two 13500+ runs plus a nice 13701.
I will return!! :D

Not much action in the past week really. I've been so busy with schooling plus extra-curricular activities that there's been no time for powerball. But today I came home planning to do a few hrs time on the piano, but my eye fell on that good ol' blue sphere.
The session was quick and sloppy however, and I hardly even kept track of my scores unless they were records. There were two 6450+ RH 30s runs, and one around 6550 (poor run since I lost rythm for the last 5 seconds). Left hand 30s record, 6236 - nothing too special. Second speed run was 14200+, then came this:

(which was less than 15 minutes after beginning warmup...)
There were at least 6 more 14.2 - 14.3k runs before and after as well, then I was physically wrecked. :(
Afterwards, I tried a couple "dual-hands technique" runs, one being over 14k and a new record! (2nd time ever over 14k)

Sad news though, I still have not purchased a workable camera, so no videos guys. :o
P.S. Anyone see the new 90s submissions by Akis? I didn't see anyone mention it, was it just put up? Congrats Akis!!

Awesome work mate, I've been thinking for ages that you should be working your way up the Top 100 nicely, and now you're doing it. 14434 is excellent, but I wanna see 14.5k. ;)
Doesn't surprise me either that it came near the start of your session...that's nearly always the way it happens for me. ;)
P.S. Yes, Akis's scores appeared a few days ago, but his old score submissions were duplicated to create the new ones. I forgot to change the dates from the old ones to the new ones, so although the scores were there, they weren't highlighted. (I would be VERY surprised i anyone had noticed his 20082 Gripper score changing to 20083! ;) )
Excellent Installed!:D Great score!;) Go for more!:D ;)
As for Akis's scores i haven't noticed them to be honest:o But great congratulations Akis!:D

LOL, okay, that kind of confused me I admit... :p
Thanks Esl, Adrena1in. Its cool that I hit that score so early on, but next time I do want to do a more thorough warmup... I think 14500 is well within my grasp.

Dude slow down with these speed records. Congrats man! :D
Last session I got roughly this score so I think were on a level playing field now. 14.5k should be easy from here so I reckon you can overtake me soon if i don't improve. Your 30s are awesome...nice LH one as well.
Oh, and don't be at all baffled if your record came within 15 minutes. Mine usually take 15-20 minutes straight out of the warm up because thats when I'm the freshest and most explosive, I'll slow towards the end of the session. :)
Good luck in your next session mate.
Nice work Stephen. I can't keep up with you and Pete:eek:
Nice Steph!!, congrats for your new record... I'm working a lot to catch 14k again :p probably that barrier is not a problem for you now. ;)
Regards!

Yeah man, don't you get comfortable at your little #44 spot... I'm coming for ya! ;) :D Actually tried at 30s today and managed to sneak past you...
Nice Steph!!, congrats for your new record... I'm working a lot to catch 14k again. probably that barrier is not a problem for you now. Thanks. And no, its not really - although today it was a bit of a struggle only because its my 3rd day straight hard PBing. I have written down 22 times I've exceeded 14k, the actual figure is probably over 30.
Well guys, I've had a session for three days straight now, and I'm a bit worn down. Yesterday was mainly speed, mostly runs from 14-14.2k, none about 14.3k however.
Today's major scores were:
RH: 13952, 13805, 14090, 14051, 13796, 13921, 14070, 13969.
30s: 6525, 6660, 6512
LH: not very good, best score was 13.4k. two 30s runs under 6k
BH: 13701, 13915, 14077, 13426, 13859, 13585, 13442
90s(E): 18955, 18715
Both hands technique is sure taking off! If I ever manage to get the technique perfect I could get MUCH higher. 14k feels like I'm hardly trying, I just usually lose rythm too soon.
Pretty happy with my 30s. :D

You just got me on 30s so I think I'll concentrate on beating that next session . Oh and I'm gonna concentrate for 19k. ;) I'm coming for ya too! :D
