Last night i jumped from 13607 up to 14026.
It was so unexpected i didnt video it. damn!
At least i know i can do it now and hopefully do it again.
Idid also get 13885, so ill submit that to the leaderboard for now, untill i get a video of a 14k run.
The same happened to me last night 2!:D

My record had been 13579 for years, and then I hit 13763 one evening, then a week or two later, 13958 then 14076 straight after. Seems a lof of people make similar leaps.
You'll do it again and again and again Alastair, don't worry...just get a vid to scoreadmin@powerballs.com showing at least 98% of your 14k record and I'll approve it.

You have done it once so you can definitely do it again, so don't worry!:)
13885 K still a good score for the leaderboard as a interim score, the great thing is there is more to come and l reckon next time you will score alot higher.

It's a good feeling to break the 14k barrier for the first time.
I'm sure there will more of them 14k+ runs coming, so don't forget to keep the video going ;)

I certainly know that 14k is definitely a great feeling, especially when you hit it for the first time. I'm sure you'll be doing more 14K score in the near future. Although the 14k club is growing, the 14k mark is still the mark of a dedicated and accomplished Powerballer.
There's even more fun to come for you too if you have more than one Powerball. I found that after I hit 14k and as I became accustomed to reaching the mark, I found myself having fun getting 14k+ scores on all my Powerballs. Once you do this, you know that you are making even more improvements.
The fun thing for me now is trying to get 15K+ scores on all my Powerballs. I have 15K on 3 Powerballs so far and working on a 4th. I would really like to see it on one of my Soundballs (considering that they are just a bit heavier and tend to score just a tad lower than my other Powerballs anyway).
We'll be expecting more great scores from you, Alastair, as you climb up the rankings. Congrats on getting into the 14k Club!

Ah im gutted right now, i was making steady progress toward 14k, now ive gone totally backwards, feels like my technique has totally gone, cant pulse my shoulder to get over 13k.
I think it could be that i need a rest, i hope so, im not going to get back on my powerball until wednesday, so hopefully then i can get back to 13.5k and look to get closer to 14k.

According to my calculator you would need at least 13745 which mean that the your score that your sending should meet the 98% needed
no-one likes to give a 98% score of what they can do, they want to post the real thing, why try less for a lower mark when you can try harder and get a new record ;) forget submitting that other 14k score get a score of 14.5k and submit that beast.

Wow, that's a heck of a score. No tellin' how far you can go if you can get that score at that age.

Conversely, I bought a webcam to video myself (hopefully) breaking 14k and 12k metal and never came close all weekend.:(
I'm still stuck in the mid to high 13k's and 11k's.
This was after resting my right hand/arm for about 4 days.
Gonna rest some more this week, maybe even for the whole week, and see what happens.:p;):cool:
Well i think im going to rest my right hand till next weekend. my left isnt too bad so ill keep trying to break 13.5k with that.

Yes pete - i'm 16 but 17 in june, so i will try to get as big a score as possible before june, so my score will take some beating in the U17 minileague., then i will hand over the under 17 reigns to you!;)

Just come out of a hot mode - managed to increase my score by 70rpm to 14092 and my left to 12688.
Still no video though - will use my friends tomorrow so hopefully i can get 98% of my new score.
