Hey everyone. I have a question, I play the electric guitar quite a fair amount, and with regards to my strumming hand which is alot of wrist action im getting unusual problems with my finger tips on the strumming hand. The fingers except the thumb tend to swell up just below the nail and around the nuckle. They some times feel very hot and throb. When i tend to clenth my fingers closed you can feel the swelled up muscles much more obviously.

Now i dont know what the problem is but i know its obviously related to guitar strumming.. my question is .. would a powerball help or worsen it? I do have a powerball as it is. I went to doctor and they said rest which i do and it goes but the second i start guitar again i get the problem again so... was curious if any one has encounted this ?

I think some mild use of the Powerball should help out with your guitar playing and your finger strength. Of course, you have to know when to stop, because there can be a point where too much Powerballing will aggravate your fingers. Nothing that a little rest from Powerballing won't heal, though. ;)

Although I don't play guitar, a top Powerball here on the forum, Jarkko, does. I'm sure he might be able to shed some light on some of his experience as Powerballer and a guitar player.

If you read this one, Jarkko, what do you think?

Always Powerballing,
