Got my Metal yesterday, i'm really impressed, i like the size, perfect for my hands as i always felt my hands were slightly too big for the 250hz.

It looks amazing and is incredibly smooth!

I'm also amazed at how it works your arms, even at low revs you can see your Biceps tensing like your doing curls.

I need a few days to let my P'ball wounds heal, as ive had a mad few days on both my 250hz, and most of yesterday on the 350hz.

But i know for a fact ill smash my 250hz record, as it feels incredibly light and easy to do after a few 30s runs on the 350hz!

by then end of this weekend (if my hands have stopped hurting) i want to have hit 11,000 on the metal and 13,500 on the 250hz.

Current scores
250hz 13,331
350hz 10,580

Speaking of which, 14k and 12k look well within your reach as well!

I think the first thing you'll noticed Ricky is that your Metal scores will rise quickly. Once you get used to the extra force that is. Most people tend to score around 1800 to 2000 less with the Metal, so I'd expect you to hit more like 11500, based on your 250Hz record.

Hi Ricky.

That's great! Enjoy!

I also have long enough fingers that any way I hold the Pro S or the 250, either my fingers, thumb or palm will touch the rotor, so I have to compensate. The 350Hz will be my next purchase because it is larger and has more torque at lower speeds.

Sounds like you like it...is it any more slippery than the other Powerballs? How do you like the weight?

Cheers, im sure ill be improving a lot quicker now i have it!

Going back to the 250hz straight after really is a shock!

I dont find it slippery at all to be honest, and the weight is perfect, at 10,000 your arms are really working!

But even at 5000 you can feel it working your whole arm!

For me, I think many of my improvements have been due in part to working with the Metal Powerball. I like its smoothness, and more than this, I like the weight and how it works the muscles. I find that after working with Metal for a short time, I can go directly to the 250Hz and make new records.

Everyone should have a Metal Powerball. They are quite durable and really easy to open for cleaning. Some people might think in comparison to the other models that they are a little pricey. I know that people who don't Powerball think they are definitely too pricey, but when you finally decide to buy one, and the spectacular sphere arrives in the mail, all your a ideas about cost slip away. The Metal is definitely worth every penny!

It exceeds every expectation!

Always Powerballing,

Yeah, didnt use it a lot over the weekend, but it helped me break 13500 on my 250hz.

14k by the end of the month? or is that aiming a bit high, lol.

Yes, the Metal is like a great white shark, just don't touch the rotor when it's spinning fast - it's jaws bite hard! ;)

Keep Spinning!

Yup, metal is good.

I'll be having a crack at my scores again tonight, try to push over 14k & 12k.

Haven't really been trying for a few days, hands have been a bit stiff and sore.

So, hopefully the rest will have done me good.

Also, ordered me a pretty spiffy webcam to video my best runs :D
