I think this probably differs for eveyone. I usually start with about 5 minutes of quite gentle, (sub 8000 rpm), spinning, and then I get straight into it with some 80-90% effort one-handed 90s runs. Then I'll do at least one or two one-handed 30s runs to get my muscles "twitching" as best I can.
Still takes me at least half an hour to an hour to start hitting my best scores, and I mix it up between speed runs and endurance runs, with both the Plastic and the Metal. But the warm-up itself is usually about 10 minutes.
When I was newer to Powerballing, 10 or 20 minutes of hard, constant endurance was always beneficial...you might want to try that. (And by hard I'm talking around 9500 rpm non-stop, changing hands every 20 to 60 seconds.)
I just tried the patented Adrena1in warm up and increased my left hand speed by 400 my first speed improvement in ages cheers for the advice:):):)

I think it would be a good idea to have a sticky thread where everyone posted their own personal warm-up. :) It might be very helpful in obtaining lots of tips and tricks... all packed into one thread.
