There is one thing i have been wondering about for a while..
Does the powerball take damage if i suddenly should start to rotate the opposite direction? For example: clockwise to counter clockwise......
Greetings Realnils
Actually, if you want to be really precise with your Powerball, it is better that you don't switch direction while spinning at speed; what happens is that the metal axle comes down hard on the inner platter as it dips minutely during the sudden switch and makes a little mark on the surface, giving that little 'knock knock' each time a 180 degree rotation is made in the Y axis.
This isn't a severe 'bump' however, and it will be easily filed down again by smooth, constant rotation of the rotor within a few minutes, but try to avoid the switch regardless if want a perfect Powerball! :-)
Hope that helps! Best regards, Rory
