I was going to vote "1400+", because I always get more than 1,400! ;) But instead I edited and changed the values, adding an extra zero where you'd missed them out! ;)

Although I can get over 14000 if I really try, generally I'm in the 12000 to 14000 zone.

Easily 14000+. Maybe few 13k's at warmup, but mostly I score 14100-14500 and sometimes it slips to the 13.9k.

Well only got over 14K on two days then I bust my thumb and then sent off both my PBs to be fixed. On my new neon I seem to be getting around 13.3K-13.7K as a norm, peeking at 13.9K.

I have been getting easily above 14300 or 14400 lately. For some reason I get a lot of 14600 or so scores. Sometimes I happen to get a score just barely above the 14000 mark, but it's usually from a slight miss in the technique. It's really fun nowadays to get around 14500 on a Soundball just to hear the scream! ;). It's possible I might actually hit 15000 with on one of my Soundballs too!

My best is 14.617 , I can easily hit 13.500 with my powerball (the rotor vibrates badly, so it is ok :D )

My high score is 12,999 but that was a while back before my powerball broke. I was really disappointed because i was 1 point away from 13,000 and that would've been a good score for the powerball under 20s section. It's been a while since i've used mine, since it makes a noise like a plane or jet engine, and it vibrates and is difficult to use at higher speeds. The axle in the middle broke literally in half, it's not connected to the other side, so i need to send mine in already. How much does it cost to send in a powerball all the way back to them to get it fixed?

Also, it won't allow me to hit the high scores i used to, so it's not functioning properly. I know that it's kinda off topic, but i don't have time like i used to to look through this page.

im like borbus. my high score is in the 12k range, but lately i've been strugling to reach the high 11k.
i just did a good 90s run and from the sound of the pb i'm sure i broke my previous high score but it wasn't a speed run so we'll see a bit later tonight.

My first night with my powerball signature series, and I managed to get 9073 and 2 blisters! Yay for me.

But there is no problem with 13k anymore.

Good way to prevent blisters:

Wash your hands every 10 mins in a powerball session. It certainly helps me. The main reason you get blisters is because your hands start sweating and and cant grip it very well causing it to slip around and rub on your hands (I used to have loads of blisters before i started washing my hand loads).

I use non-moisturising soap (imperial leather i think) which causes my hands to go quite dry and stop sweating for a while.

I know every 10 mins seems a bit over the top, but it really benefits me and my powerballs. My hands are blister free, even after a good session on the metal, and my powerballs are kept perfectly clean.

Even though ive cleaned my old powerball over and over it still feels more slippery than my others. I think this is because i didnt use to wash my hands before and while using the powerball.

I bought my Signature PB five days ago (first ever) and my best is now 11993 RH, but I am expanding my grip technique and I expect to get much better in following days.

Welcome to the forums Mayne I do hope we see you get a higher score soon and for me what I use for a grip enhancer is anti-persperant spray it works really well and your hands will never sweat and you can keep very good grip on it

I'm trying to figure out what I have. I just bought a 350 metal. Model number PB-388C. I bought it on an auction site, it was new, still in the wrapper. Is this the new screemer version. I have repeatedly scored over 15,000. My highest is 17,529. Nobody else has scored over 12,500 with mine.

That's an impressive score. Please submit a video and picture of your runs, and of your powerball. That's incredible if it is accurate, and you'd also be a record holder (the 'screemer' models aren't in production yet, so I'm a little curious).

This is kindof weird but my pb is 11,668, so close together lol ;)

Hopefully my new Screamer tomrrow won't put me off with the flay light like my Blue Neon..:P Instead the screaming will motivate me to greater achievements, also It'll be nice and clean ;)

In cold runs I always score between 12500 - 13000 range.
In warm runs I normally score between 13000 - 13500 range.
In exceptional runs (hot-mode) I mostly score between 13500 - 14000 range.

Got my first Powerball Signature on Saturday, started off at 7,500, then on Sunday got upto 8k, Tuesday 9k and today (Thursday) got 10,600. At this rate I'll be no.1 in three weeks, (in my dreams). No! but seriously it is very addictive and good exercise, well done NSD.:o

Wow that's pretty quick improvement!

I just got my first ball yesterday - a signature. I managed 9000rpm (on the dot!) after a couple of tries. Once my arm was useless, I tried again for some reason, and I got 9875! Going for 10k today when I get home.

I also have a metal one on the way, so that should give my wrists a run for their money!

iv been using powerball now for about 3 months. with the 250hz pro im hitting between RH 12500-12800 and LH 11900-12100. im finding really hard to bust the 13K barrier tho :mad: im using it practically everyday to! alittle more practice is needed i think before i can rival the mighty Akis! one day tho, his crown will be mine :D lol. i bought a heavy metal about a month ago to, its definatly improved my speed and grip! if you want to improve radically i erge everyone who doesn't have a 350hz metal pro to rush out and get one asap!!!

I think you're right. Sadly I couldn't find a way to add an option, so what I've done is combine the 1000-5000 and 5000-10000 options...only two people had voted 1000-5000 and they're probably higher than that now. I've added the 15000 (√âlite) option.

Be a while, (if I ever get back into practise), before I achieve 15k+ every session...I've only done it 4 or 5 times so far. ;)

i still cant get my head around the metal some days i have 12k cold and end up finishing the session with a 12k4 but if 13k is what is expected of me then that is what i will strive to get

It's because your Plastic speed runs are very explosive. Quick burst to top speed and quick slow-down. Can't do that with the Metal, you have to wind it up slower. I'm a lot slower to get to top speed with the Plastic than you, and that technique suits the Metal.

Right now I'm trying to muscle the Powerball. I'm hitting 12k both hands pretty easy but frustrated about not hitting 13k... On a positive note last night (set 33) I felt a semi-pulse (or at least I think it was) so I think (hope) to figure that out soon.. Video below with my techno (I find the scores harder with the techno but I love the challenge).. Be easy with the technique comments lol, as I can't extend my right arm since it was broken.

Don't worry, man!

You'll see that you'll go through phases... it may feel as if you're standing still but just keep on training... once you hit the 13k's then you'll only look forward. Some of the phases might feel longer than others, but the idea is to persevere.

It was only now after a year that I hit over 13k's with my left hand but to do it again seems impossible. The best I do now with my left on daily sessions is 12.5k's

Every phase prepares you for the next and then you don't look back! :)

Thanks Hentie..... Always good to get a boost from someone that's climbed the mountain.... Your words are so true. When I got the 250Hz I wrote down my very first workout. I was depressed (yet addicted) hitting only 11.1 RH and 10.1 LH..

I too look at powerballing as phases and thanks to the many great threads on here I'm improving. I NEVER thought I'd hit 12k LH but now I do in each workout and I'm closer to pulse LH then I am RH (go figure lol). This summer is full of tournaments so I just hope to stay healthy but when fall / winter hits I WILL hit 13k (if not sooner) :).......
