Congratulations Jez! 15000 rpm and more!!

Jeremy Goldsmith of the UK is on the brink of becoming the 5th person to break 15000 rpm. He's just submitted 14978! Looks like that rest has done him well.

Oh, and left-handed too...previous record of 14781 was right-handed!! Akis is, I think, the only other person with such a high standard with both hands.

Fantastic job Jeremy, you're putting England right up there with the best of them in speed!! ;)


EDIT: Jeremy's unable, so asked me to produce a graph of his score. It would appear it was momentarily over 15000...by quite an amount. Compared to his 14781 score the curve is far more "natural", so I'm sure he'll be up into 4th or even 3rd quite soon!

Sweet. Great work Jeremy. Would be aweseome for the next 15K+ score to be from England. Also that is just incredible that you can score almost equal left and right handed.
Hopefully once I get my powerballs back I can continue to try and catch you, unlikely, but it makes a good target.

As I was telling Adrena1in the other day, based on my own improvements that I should be able to attain 15K+ scores around Jan 22 or so, but I also mentioned to him that there will probably be about 3 or more Powerballers that will also break the 15K mark around the same time. There are just 4 Powerballers now that have gone past the 15K+ mark, but I estimate that there will be about 7 or 8 Powerballers past this mark by the end of February. Likely, you will be one of them, Jeremy.

Keep spinning and go for 15K!

...where can i download the programme that works all this out?

I also use a program called "SUPER" to convert videos into single-channel WAV files, importable into the "Powerballalyser". It's maximum is 105 seconds, so if you want to plot a 90s run, make sure you edit out any guff from the start and end, or you'll run out of space.

Try also searching for "Frequency Analyser", which is also pretty good, (just not so user friendly).

Tim, many thanks for the graphs they provide really good feedback although l can't believe that it was that high for a split second over 15K. Really want to get back to it and hit that 15K+ now but will have to let the blister go down. That is the only problem with changing hands to the left l have to go through all the suffering of sore thumbs and fingers again.

Hopefully l will get back to the Metal at some point but that 'Ball' is a real Beast, and you make it look so easy!! Duane and you are really tough to get to as the Metal has a totally different technique to the 250Hz. Will work on it to reach you and Duane, would be fantastic to get up to the 13K mark.

Thanks Dennis, my forum activity has not been up to its normal standard but l am going to try and sort that out, which means keeping up to date with all the great things going on by fellow powerballers.

I agree with you my technique looks alot better but not sure whether l can transfer it over to the right side will have to give it a go. Talking of technique yours is very smooth, in fact you were the one which made me change mine, as l believe it was not long ago you changed your technique as well? I thought at that time what works for someone else may work for me.

So in a round about way cheers for the inspiration to change my technique.

Cheers Boneless360 and Manudo always great to get support from fellow spinners. The 15K l will have to work on, had a good session yesterday managing 14890 so at least l haven't lost it. Fingers a bit sore but they will heal. Really want to get back to it, as you both know, really addictive these balls
