What is your personal record with the powerball??
Mine is 12.556. What technique do you use?

I use practically no arm movement and subtle wrist movements to increase strength first. Hold 10, 000 RPM at 30-second intervals or close to that. Then try fast spins every other day. It's just like doing intervals for a sport like cycling. Work to develop strength and power on one day; use the next day to work on speed. And rest when you are weak or sore.

My records are:
Right: 12,951
Left: 10,898
Right 30 sec.: 5,378
Left 30 sec.: 4,763
This is an addictive little nifty item :p.

I started using the powerball a few months ago and got up to almost 12500 but I need more speed!
I've tried doing the smaller rotations Tijl but still no higher yet - more practise needed I guess :)

I got one around three months ago. I am only 17 and my record is 11597, but I can devinately say that that continues to increase.

12,978RPM Could get faster but keeps slipping from hand, even when I grip it as hard as possible.
11,375RPM wiht left hand no slipping there jusst not good enough yet.

I'm also only 17, I got it yesterday... My best so far is 11,609 Right and 9,280 Left... Unfortunately it fell off a table today... I'm gonna have to see which bit needs replacing :S lol...
Just improved that to: 12.465 right, 11.446 left :D

my record in 1 day is 8744
On my first day I reached a score of 10,915 rpm. But it ruined my hand and arm with it, so it took me a week to improve that score.

11481 on the *Neon Blue* model after 2 weeks
I don't use it for fitness, i just make it spin up at low speed (often in the 3000-7000 rpm) to relax while working...

11,209 is my current right hand record. I cant get it over that....
on day 1 I got to 9740rpm. day 4 I got to 11,209. Now im on day 7 and I cant get it any higher....

My high score is 12,304 and I'm 16 :p. I got like 10,300 something with my left hand. I had the powerball for like a week idk.. I bowl a lot so I guess thats why my right arm is so strong lol..

I picked up my Powerball from the post office yesterday. Just a few minutes ago I got my PB of 10,543 with my right hand. Last night I got just under 10k with my left.
I got my powerball today, scored 10,091 today, im 15 years old.

10,837 so far, but only had it a day or two. Can usually hit 10k pretty easily, but it's about my limit at the moment. A friend hit 12k on his first attempt when a colleague brought one into work a few years ago! As for my left hand, I'd struggle to reach 10k at the moment I think.

i'm 14, have been using for 2 weeks, and record 11144. i don't really have good techniques, but just small movement and spin as long as i can... oh, and 1000000r/d really helps.

At first record try i got it over 10k and second try i got it up to 10498, now my hand is in so mutch pain that i cant do anymore records today :D

There's not really any fame involved in getting a really high score, just the bragging rights of having your name put up on that scoreboard.. back when I first got mine, I was around 23rd place or something, with a score about 12500. Now that the competition's acutally there, that won't even get you close to being in the top 100..

Why, do you not realise that the reason that Jaco and Philippe haven't increased their scores over the past month is that they are too busy with Hollywood film projects, after dinner speechs, film premieres, gala openings, etc to knuckle down and practice??

Actually, we did eventually get around to answering your mail Sharvin, though in truth, we get so many mails each week from customers that believe they have managed a new "world record score" of 15K+ that it becomes difficult to answer all of them personally like this.
It is the reason why we wrote the rules (http://www.powerballs.com/score_submit.php#rules) for the board and would appreciate if players would adhere to them before submitting.
While most people eventually send an image of their new score, less than 1% take the time to send the video clip of a '98%' value score which we also require to help us verify that your score is in fact legitimate and so we can't proceed with the verification process.
It's clearly written in the rules so please follow them.

My record is 12991. Been hitting the high 12ks for a couple of months, but can't seem to progress. I did 12991 straight after doing 530,000 revs in an hour...endurance really is the key to hitting those higher scores!!

im 17, have only got to 11782, but it is very satisfying to beat tree trunk armed guys :} Even when im averaging 11500's i still cant manage to push this score up, but mebbe im using the wrong technique :o

13083 lefthanded tight clockwise rotations. 12774 righthanded counterclockwise. I've gotten over 13k about five times but haven't crested 13100 yet... in time...

Technique: Cranking like a mother with the tounge hanging out...Jordan style.
I received my Powerball two days ago and could barely break 10,000. Within the hour I hit 10,900 and from there on out I've discovered there's really a lot of technique to hitting the higher RPM's.

Well ive only had mine for a week. When i first got it i was on about 7000 but in that week i have managed to get it to 10533 which i dont think is too bad! Im trying to aim for 11000 next. Quick tip: make sure your powerball is clean on the outside and that your hands are clean and dry. This will give you more grip to the ball

I Think that most important than your high score is how easy you can get a good average, mine is now (after 8 days of powerballing) 11k and my high record is 12802 on my neon blue.

I only got my Powerball a few days ago to try and improve hand and wrist strength since I suffer quite badly from osteo-arthritis. Having looked at top 100 for both men and women I note that with my current best of 10,952, I would come 18th in the women's table. I thought therefore about having a table for over 60's. Is there anyone else my age using a Powerball?
