View Full Version : The new website
I must admit that I really enjoy the new website. Very handy design and menusystem and its easy finding the information I need. This page really appeals to me!

I agree, Nicely designed, and set out.

I only got here a minute ago and now i want one

Too bad there will never be any user-made fan sites. Someone should start an unofficial Powerball community. This website is too infomercial-like and cheesy.
Alex
Too bad you think the site is cheesy Alex - I wrote, designed and built it and thought it gave a pretty accurate account of what these shiny little spheres were all about. Still, the web is a big place and there are lots of free forums out there - nothing to stop you starting one for yourself instead of waiting for someone else to do it. Rory

Alright, maybe not cheesy, but certainly infomercial-like. I just wish it was more personal and fan-based, as opposed to its current advertisement-only format.
Would anyone like to assist me in the first fan-made Powerball community?
Alex
I really like the website, it's visually appealing and navigation is good. Only complaint i have is that it is a bit slow to load and using TABLE doesn't help.
Kevin
I wouldnt say this site was slow in anyway, once you cached a few of the pics, it loads just fine.

Just like me! i was looking for a world record website (olympics) and ended up on the powerball s world record page (the 8th result on the first page of google when i typed "record du monde de distance" which means "distance world record" in french, it's been 10 minutes im on the site and i want one deeply

Well I've ordered one for myself mainly due to the hours I've spent reading this forum, the site and also reviews I've found all over the web. The most negative thing I found was some folks saying it was a gizmo that could get put away after a while. But that was all and they were in a real minority. So I'll see how it goes :-). I'm only expecting to improve my sword work and also chinup ability-one part of my right wrist pulls sometimes when I do these.

(Thanks Karnautrahl...I knew that the hundreds of hours I spent making up the posts in the forum every night would eventually pay off for us...does this mean I can stop now??
:-)
Thanks for the business - regards Rory

Well, latest results after a month of powerballing...
40 chinups per set is possible now. My heaviest sword is now used one handed and I've hit 12308 yesterday :-).
Before this, 15 chin-ups was my best for over a year. I'm 19stone and it's not um all muscle :-).
