Fitting the wrist strap

I just received my techno powerball today with its leather case and a wrist strap.
I cant work out how to fit the wrist strap. I presume it fits through the two small holes in the side of the powerball but how?
I can get it down one of the holes but I cant see how I get it through the other so that I can thread it through itself to hold the powerball.
Any tips on fitting the wrist strap.

Got it fitted eventually.
The way I did it was I looped a piece of thread through the wrist strap then fed both ends of the thread throught the holes in the powerball.
That made it easy to pull the wrist strap through with the thread.

Think i did it the other way, i threded the thin bit through the holes then threded the cord through the loop, i have now removed it as i find it more of a hinderance than a benefit, (i like to get it going fast with one hand then try and pas it to the other as quick as possible so i dont loose much speed, then give it a hi speed burst with my best arm, but by the time ive slipped the cord of my wrist then put it round my right wrist ive lost some of the speed) i just make sure i hold it tight (like you should do anyway) and i try to hold it over something soft so if i drop it, it has a soft landing.
