I was at my friends house, and I was showing them how to use the powerball, and then I got 15,385rpm. I knew this couldn't be right because the highest I got was 11k I tried to take a picture but my camera was dead. So in panic I wanted it to shut off and save the score. But I pressed clear by accident. Is it possible that the score can glitch?

I'm pretty much sure that would of been a glitch, it says somewhere on the questions and answers that, that can happen but ive been using my powerball for some time now and its never had a ridiculously bad reading. I also hear it can double the actual score too.

15360rpm Powerball score
this score can appear from time to time on the counter display (perhaps once in every 1000 sessions).

Unfortunately, this is only a temporary corruption in the counter (which causes it to display such an amazing score) and is not the result of your superhuman efforts!

Yeap it can, very rarely tho.

Only got a 17k+ once on a counter :D, the Techno is a lot more unprecise on some scores ( a lot of faulty 14k+ and 15k+)

Still never had any faulty readings for any of the Powerballs I've ever used...and I do use them quite a lot. I'm just a very stable person I guess! :D

There are no errors in the first counter mode, I know that's the mode you use the most, isn't it?

Do you mean the Total Accumulated Revs mode? I don't use that one very much...only did a few weeks back when I wanted to clock over 10,000,000 revs. No, I mostly use the Top RPM mode and the Strength Index modes.

Actually, I say I've never had any errors, but I did see a glitch on one of my Powerballs recently. I had it on the counter mode I NEVER use, the Current RPM mode, and I was spinning it and watching the counter. I got it up to about 7k and noticed the score would regularly drop down to about 5k, then back up to 7k for a bit. Then it would briefly drop again. I was keeping the speed constant, so it was definitely a glitch of some sort.

Never had an error in endurance mode, but in speed, often when I get to 13k, there's only 12k displayed on the counter, I cheked that with my spectro. This happens even if you stay at max speed a long time.

unless the counter gives you false scores sometimes, i would be placed over Akis on the Top RPM scoreboard :P hit 16659 with my friends powerball earlyer today.. recorded the score with the cam on my phone for fun.. if anyone want it, i guess i can try to fix it from 3g to avi some day...

unless the counter gives you false scores sometimes, i would be placed over Akis Then I guess the counter did give an incorrect reading. If you have a video of yourself actually speeding the Powerball up then by all means send it to scoreadmin@powerballs.com - I'll tell you what sort of speed you were really doing.

If videos weren't required for top speed scores, I would have submitted 18454...the highest I've managed to "achieve". :p

exatly ;) my score of 16659 is ofcourse a false reading. i mean, i dont go from just breaking the 12k barrier with my right hand, to setting 16659 with my left one :p
