How to open?

I've got a question about powerball.
I'm using my powerball 2 weeks right now.
It's dirty inside so I tried to open but I can't.
is it safe to open for cleaning?

IN answer to your question ..YES you can open the ball up these things are made of some tuff material and do not break easy i suggest you open it the way i do since its the easiest. get a flat head screw driver one with a thick handle.first take off the rubber grip.take the flat head screwdriver stick the flat end inbetween the 2 halves twist the handle anywhich way and the halves will split i use a L shaped flat head which alows great leverage so i harly have to even push if you are using a regular flat head some tourqe may be required

Careful doing it like that though. I bought a secondhand ball once, and when I took the rubber grip off the two halves had dents and bumps all round, as though someone had tried to twist the two parts apart with a screwdriver. (Perhaps they hadn't taken the little screws out!). Still worked fine of course, but wasn't exactly "As New", like the seller had specified.

Personally I just interlock my fingers, put the ball between the base of my palms, kneel on the floor, put my hands between my knees and squeeze with all my might. Can usually pop it apart this way.
