i have a neon pro (blue). it came with 2 red strings that have little plastic bits on the ends. - is it possible to get sent anouther one since i've just managed to catch it against the shell and pull it off the last one.

also might be worth asking if there's the little round washers that are inside the ball avaliable, mine's getting a bit worn now.

cheers. - Si

i lost both my little red strings too... i kno ur pain, i went for ages without a pair, really sucked... but i just ended up using a pair of shoe laces, get a pair which is thin enough, most have those lil plastic bits on the end, n work like a treat.
hope this helps

I always use my thumb to start the Powerball. I guess it requires some practice, but it makes all the strings unnecessary. :D

Coincidence! I registered to report the exact same problem.

I've just brought a PB Techno.
I've had it for 1 day and managed to break the plastic ends off my red strings. Not good news for a beginner!

It's a bit of a steep learning curve for a beginner (like me!).

You can get replacement cords, just ask. In the mean time an effective repair is to wrap sellotape around the ends and trim to length. Do practice the flick start though!;)

Yes it took me a lot of time before I manage to start my PB-s with thumb, just keep practicing, after a couple of weeks it starts to be annoying starting the ball with cord. I can't figure it out flick start yet but I'm working on it. It is co cool to watch Akis starting Dual PB-s with flick start – Akis how can you do that?????

Yeah Jack, that's cool but see if you can find Palm Pilot's single handed dual flick start!

Palm Pilot is the name of one of the members here, and he did a video where he flick-starts TWO Powerballs (one at a time) using only one hand! Excellent dexterity. :)

I emailed customer services about my string problem. They responded within a few hours and are sending out 2 more strings. Top customer service in my book. :D

Mate at work was so impressed with my PB and the response from CS that he went out and brought one!

:o Ooooopppsss

Sorry guys sometimes I need little bit longer to catch-up. Yep, great dual flick start too although you need probably extra large hand to do that.
And yesterday I did one Personal high score Dual Run RH 11940 + LH 11600 = 23540, it would put me on the board at 31st place, to bad I didn't tape it.

It might be that your email never made it through the RPM Sports Firewall, Sirex. If you want to try again, copy "scoreadmin@powerballs.com" in on your email. I can monitor that mailbox and check if your emails are getting through.

Alternatively, if you happen to be in the UK, PM me your address and I can send you a couple of strings...I've got loads of spares.

The day I bought my powerball, after I got used to it, I learned to start it using the thumb flick method. It's easy to catch the technique, because there are some videos on the internet about it and you can learn from there just by imitating those guys. Even my girlfriend managed to give up the strings for this more confortable method in a relatively short amount of time (about 2 days of ocasional practice).

I'm using a 250Hz Powerball Pro.
