View Full Version : Rubber Grip Keeps Sliding Off!

Hey,

The rubber grip on my 250hz Neon Pro keeps sliding off when I go for high speeds. I had my PB for about 3-4 weeks and it didn't do this before - just lately it's doing it.

It's quite annoying, because it doesn't let me reach my full speed potential, just keeps sliding off (not completely). I don't wanna glue it as then I won't be able get to the screws.

So what should I do?

wash it with soap, and wash your hands too.:D

You got it wrong - it's not my hands slipping off the rubber band; it's the rubber band slipping off the powerball.

There are multiple other threads on this same topic. I would recommend that you look at them. And yes, what Sayex said does work. But look at the other threads for more detail.

I would wash it with hand soap or dish soap (somethign lotion free) and lather it in warm (not hot) water, and then rinse it off with cold water, and also wash your hands, and wipe off the outer shell of the powerball with a clean towel before replacing your grip bad after drying it off.

the hot then cold water will help get the oils out and cause the grip back to return to it's original condition more or less.

good luck hope it helps you
