Useless forum search!

I've tried using the forums search engine to find articles, with very little joy, so conducted an experiment!
Fired up a thread, noted pertinent points, searched, got "no threads contain..."
Yes threads DO contain, I've just read them!
One such search was "m25", which exists quite often in some pretty recent threads! :mad:

Hey Auto,

"m25" is too short a search string. 4 seems to be the minimum. It's quite a common setting on vbulletin I believe.

If this is like another forum I used to go to, put asterisks * either side of the search term...might work...

I just tried to search for *m25* and it brought back one thread. So I'm assuming it works. It's just meant to prevent people searching for "a" or "the", which would just be silly!
