Rubber grip slipping

When I go for speed runs the rubber grip keeps slipping out of place, is there any way to stop this or would I need a new band?

I've had this occasionally too. If you give it a really good clean in hot water, with soap, then dry it and leave it to cool, and also give the outside of the Powerball a really good clean, that should help.

it was cleaning it that made it slip, i used washing up liquid though.

wash it with water... so the liquid goes off...

You should only use a little washing up liquid when cleaning your grip-band. If you use soap the amount used is not as important because soap will not leave a specific residue.

Try using just warm water as Sayex suggested and if that doesn't work then wash it in soapy water.

I find washing up liquid can almost be a bit greasy sometimes...that's why I use a bar of soap...much better.
