Problems opening Neon powerball

Ok Sorry to start another thread about how to open a powerball, but I am unsure as to if i am doing it right.
I have followed the FAQ for doing it with a vice, but In the vice my powerball makes small cracking noises, and I dont want to force it anymore incase it breaks.
Has this happend to anyone else, and should I just give it a half turn and hope for the best?

Hello, for the 250 series you should squeeze it untill it literally pops.
it wont break (remember to unscrew the screws..(DUH!) first):eek:
