Hi Sayex,

You're right. The Metal is an absolutely excellent device but demands to be handled with the utmost respect. It's absolutely no toy, but a serious training device. The 250Hz isn't a toy either (I think), but less prone to cause long-term injuries when overused. Especially where tendons and the like are concerned.

Although they're hard to resist, listen to your own body at all times. PowerBalls can both heal and damage, like any other training device. Interestingly, injuries caused by overusing the Metal can also be healed by a repetitive gentle workout with the same spheres!

Take it easy, but keep 'em spinning...

Yeah Dennis, i agree there, the Metal powerball its definetly not a toy, its a pretty serious device.

PS: Congratulation on your scores Dennis =D

I would actually suggest that you stop using your Powerballs for a few days Sayex - if you can manage 1-2 days of complete rest, and then 3-4 days of moderate operation (with the 250Hz is best for you in this case) you should be OK in no-time!

Regards

I'm in the same situation Sayex, i guess i've overdone it too , but it seems impossible for some reasons to leave the ball alone :(

Metacarpals in my right hand are quite painfull when i'm powerballing,or handling a large object ( like a bottle of coke ) i'm not even able to score 9k at the moment. Plus, the lower joint of my right hand little finger is quite affected too, almost doubled of size lol :o

I think i'll take a little rest, at least until the end of the week, but i'm not stopping, i'm training my left hand, in a more moderate manner :D

this is actually not going to go away very quickly, so welcome the new shape of your finger =P

Lol, along those same lines, I lent a girl a powerball for a bit, and now she's complaining about messed up fingers.:D

So, i rested a few days, and everything seems to by ok. My right hand was healing ok... until. today.
I picked up my Metal Powerball, and i was doing some gentle work out... suddenly i thought: " Just one speed run", i made 10900, and my hand its hurting again xD...
So... back again to rest a few days :(

Its nothing wrong with my fingers but igot sort of a bump on my lower arm:p You can see it best when im using the muscle. Its no pain but it have been there since about 4 days after i started powerballing. Ive tried resting the hand but it dont seem to go away. Anyone had anything like this?
